From the amazingly pleasant and knowledgeable reception staff to my favorite pedicurist (calluses can be painful to remove and she has never hurt me) to the woman who totally gets my ever-thinning hair, I could not be happier. They even know my preferences in coffee drinks, delivered right to my chair. In fact, I'm headed there tomorrow for a relaxing hour or so, and I'm definitely looking forward to it. My only wish is that they would give me a real shave with a straight razor.

She also did my hair part terrible I had a bump in the back of my head from her not doing my part correctly, literally have never had a stylist mess that up before. Cost me $80 for the worst blowout Ive ever had. They offered for me to come back and fix it which I appreciated, but it was my wedding rehearsal day I didnt have time to come back. $100 total with tip, down the drain and the extra stress on my wedding wknd just really sucked. They refuse to give me a partial refund and were rude. Its extremely shady to add on extra fees without telling you or even asking you in the first place! DO NOT GO HERE

When I washed my hair the next day again it rinsed out and it was yellow and orange and brassy with shades of ash here and there. It is a complete mess, I SHOULD OF NEVER PAID BUT LIKE I SAOD I AM NOT THAT PESON WHO DOES THINGS LIKE THAT. i TEXTED HER AND NEVER GOT A TEXT BACK, TOLD HER I WANTED MYMONEY BACK ATOLEAST THIS 2ND TIME. She understands cutting with the hair and not fighting it, and how to work with the crazy humid weather we get here in NC. Kelsey locked into what I wanted pretty quickly and I trust her completely -- over the past few years all of my haircuts involve a quick chat and then me declaring, "Do what you think is best!" And we will occasionally do little edits to the overall look that keep things feeling fresh but still consistently what I want, and I've never been upset or disappointed. My hair is long, coarse, very thick, wavy hair. It is "Asian hair" but a little atypical due to its coarseness. I find that i need someone who really appreciates and understands hair texture to work with mine, because I prefer air-drying when possible and just having low-maintenance hair. Her haircuts are fairly priced ($50), and I've also come in for blow outs for special occasions (college reunion, weddings, big presentations at work, etc.) for an extra, very welcome boost. Last year I got a keratin treatment from her, too, and I loved the results -- much gentler than other straightening treatments I've had and results lasted a long time. She has online booking (just google her name), which make setting up appointments a snap. I've recommended Kelsey to multiple friends and want to recommend her to you, too! :) The atmosphere of the salon is fun, clean, and a little funky without being pretentious, annoying, or stuffy. Plus, Hot Headz is next to Joe Van Gogh coffee so you can get some work done beforehand or head over for a cup of coffee if you want to show off your fabulous new hairdo. Parking is easy in the lot beside The Green Room. Everyone in there is friendly, and they offer you a beer or glass of wine to sip on while you get your hair did. A+++

Angela Goldman rocks the hair world. I have been going to see her the last three years and couldn't imagine anyone else near my hair. She is so good, I just let her play with my color and style because I know whatever she comes up with I will be happy. I'm not talking crazy hair, just subtle changes that compliment the shape and style of your personality. I now take the whole family to Angela. My fiance always comes out looking "hot" and the kids feel like they are styling, as high school students should. Angela takes her time to hear what you want and is great at suggesting something you may not have thought of. She takes great care to make sure every customer is treated kindly and with respect. I've styled many, many weddings and formal events.". I went in for a payed trial on June 24th. Everything went great, I stated I wanted to book her for my wedding and asked about a deposit (she stated amount paid for trial would count) and I requested her to send a contract. She emailed me the photos from my trial same day. After 2 weeks no contract, email 3 times and called twice over the following 2 weeks and never got a reply. I still have no idea why she ghosted me. Very unprofessional, if she was unable or unwilling to provide the service she should have said right away. This left me looking for a new Stylist at the beginning of August for an October wedding, not a good situation. I got sort of lucky and someone is squeezing us in before another wedding. Which is better then DIY but not great. Save yourself the stress and avoid Rebeca as a wedding stylist.
