This woman about to enter the store raised her voice and was telling me things - she was rude and spoke with what seemed to be an Irish accent. About a minute later, this nice guy comes out and helps me, which I appreciated;however, this is the last time I buy from Godley's. The woman was someone who should NEVER be around customers. She has zero customer service. Since the guy came out to help me so quickly, I believe this rude woman actually works there. Sadly, this experience is enough - their flats of annuals aren't worth giving $$$ to a company either run by or employs this person without keeping her completely away from all customers. She was NOT having a bad day either.

We moved to a new home in July and my wife fell in love with a slab wood bench one of the neighbors has on their front porch. Turns out that one was bought by her Daughter when they lived in Colorado so not local. Struck out. One of the managers said " hold on" and ran outside but returned a few minutes later and explained they had had a slab wood bench but it apparently had been sold. She gave me some good tips where to look also for such an item. Every looked at the walls in a Cracker Barrel and wondered where they found all this stuff. Turn out it's in places like this. There was so much that I wanted to buy but we are still unpacking boxes from the move and I knew my wife would kill me if I brought anything else home till we found a home for the other items we have in storage. If you're in Statesville, it's worth a trip just to browse around.
