They had a type of Bradford Pear that doesn't split as easily; this was the only place in the area that carried this cultivator. Turtle Creek Nursery is huge! Bring comfortable walking shoes and maybe some water in the summer; you'll need both walking through the premises to see as much as possible. Awesome selection of trees and shrubs; everything was healthy and looked great. Don't want to have the same plants as the rest of the neighborhood who shops at Lowes? This is one place that you can find the stuff to differentiate your landscape. The salesperson that help us out was very knowledgeable; he talked us out of the other Bradford saying it still had the same issues as the old ones. We walked out of there with a Maple and three other shrubs. Long story short everything we bought is thriving beautifully. When I need new shrubs and what not for my yard I'll be back.

For the event, we didn't get to tour the indoor greenhouse but I didn't mind that. I understand it's a busy place. But to be able to see the massive outdoor area and landscape was amazing! I mean it was acres on acres of beauty, flowers and greenery. There's a little lake or water reservoir in the back as well. This event was a really fun time. I got to peruse their flowers and even vote on which ones I liked best to hopefully be included in their 2026 season. This was such a great experience and I'm so grateful I got to see inside!!

My Grandmother had then as did my Mother and others in the family. Saw them back in late summer at Mike's Growers Outlet in Denver but they were very small. They told me to come back later in the year which I did on Sunday but they had sold out of the larger one and only very small ones left. They suggested Denver Produce but they did not have any of any size but the did say that Ingle's Supermarket had had them but were sold out of the hanging basket size. Tries a different Ingles on the way home in Westport but they did not have any as well. Backing up a day, on Saturday, Brawley Nursery had advertised on Facebook with accompanying photos of some beautiful plants. The back tire on my Audi had picked up a nail so had a late start and did not get there till 1:20 and they close at 1:00 pm on Saturday. They later posted on FaceBook that they still had plenty and they would be available when they opened on Monday at 8:30. 8:30 came and went and they did not open at least while I was there. It was just me and another employee and we were both locked out looking through over the gate. Went online to see if Pike had them but from the way the adv ready, you could order them and they would be ready in 2 to 3 days. Another words, it sounds like they are representing a 3-rd. party. Placed an order yesterday afternoon and got an email in less that an hour that my order was ready. In other words, they had them in stock and I could come by and pick it up because they were open till 6PM. Told them we would pick it up on Tuesday if that was OK so over lunch today, drove over and picked up a beautiful bright red Christmas Cactus. It currently sitting on a coffee table in my living room and I am very happy with my purchase.

I got worried that no one contacted me back, so I went to the store to see it was closed. The other stores didn't know what was going on but took my information for someone to call me. Long story short I got it rescheduled. I brought my staff here as a suprise and they were nervous but delighted. We were explained to containers and plants to match. Then left to our own devices to decorate. Plan for at least an hour here. We were given some informationon aftercare. Our babies were boxed up and we paid our balance.
