The boutique is well organized, wigs, hair pieces, etc. on display come in various colors. Vera will trim the bangs, lengths or whatever it takes for the perfect look. The appointment for my cut and highlights was one of the best experiences I've had at a salon. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and offered water while I waited since I arrived very early. She answered my questions about the products they offer. I also had the pleasure of observing her interact with other clients. She was the perfect blend of efficiency and kindness. McKenna was right on time for my appointment. She reviewed the things we discussed during my initial consultation to make sure I didn't want to make any changes to the plan. Then it was on to the highlight process. I'm very happy with the results as well as the cut itself. McKenna has the best personality and made the time fly by. She made me feel comfortable and confident right from the start. I highly recommend this salon and McKenna. I feel I finally found "my" salon. The salon itself is beautiful and bright. The hand tied extensions were great for the first 4 days until I washed it. I went back after I told her I washed it and it lost the color and didn't end up matching the rest of my hair. All together it lasted me about 30 days if that at all. I reached out to the stylist on Instagram multiple times telling her the hair quality was deteriorating extremely fast every time it was washed and nothing was done. The only reason I paid as much as I did was because I was told the hair was supposed to last 6-8 months wow.... what a shame. I also only used their shampoo, conditioner and styling products but nothing helped. It was extremely dry and even other stylist would tell me that the hair could not be 100 percent human hair. I was absolutely taken advantage of and very disappointed. I had already reached out to them to tell them how disappointed I was and after I drove an hour up there out of my way to show them how damaged and awful it was.. they had the audacity to tell me that it was because another stylist had toned it. My experience went as…read morefollowed: -WAS AT THE SALON FOR 10 HOURS... 10am-8pm?!!!! -Paid 3k for color/extensions (I thought this was normal for hand weft, which it isn't just FYI) PLEASE READ**** they charge the % of the tip based off of the total.... including the hair you buy. So for example my tip was based off of 2500$, and I gave 20% tip which ended up being 500$. ***however*** I had no idea. I was prompted on 15%, 20%, or 25% and it did not tell me the $ amount until my receipt after. -had to go back the next day because my hair didn't match extensions (Call me high maintenance but if I'm paying THAT much for hair I better be walking out looking like a freakin celebrity) After this I was justifying it because I thought "hey, Atleast the hair will last 6 months right?" .... Nope. After about a month my extensions were getting completely matted to a point I couldn't even brush them (mind you I sleep in a silk hair wrap and have silk sheets). Still decided to give this salon another shot because I heard all the great reviews. Got my hair moved up and colored ... which cost me 900$!? Still, thinking it was normal decided to schedule another appointment. I ended up having to work later and was going to come about an hour late (to an appointment that was booked for 6-8 hours mind you). Upon calling they informed me that even though I was still going to come to the appointment, I was going to be charged the 200$ cancellation fee??? Hm. Seems odd, needless to say I will not be going back there and I would advise you to do the same If you're looking for reasonably priced and a less than 10 hour time frame I would highly recommend Haley at Modish Salon in Sarasota. I love my hair bright blonde and this was a third of the time and a third of the price. She was able to do my hair, color, and extensions in 3 hours and was also able to remove an unneeded weft (which would've saved me a few hundred $ if color co could have placed them the way she did and not charged for an extra weft). Just my experience
