And low and behold our ticket tap was accepted, so yes. Even if it's not listed on the door, this location accepts Star Alliance Gold. The space itself nice but oddly designed, with strange nooks, stairs, and odd angles. We were able to find some seats with plugs, but they're European plugs, so I always recommend those who are visiting the Nordic countries buy a charging adaptor, since the hotels and lounges here don't tend to have usb plug stations. All that being said, I did enjoy they the plain head lettuce leaves and bacon slices so all in all I would consider this a fairly good lounge, even if it could use a renovation.

I had the opportunity to visit the SAS Lounge (by the E gates) on my flight to København through my…read moreDelta Status. The lounge experiences are a bit different depending on the side you come in. I opted for the right side, which was smaller but focused on a smaller dining area with more limited seating. There were beers on tap in this section, and unknown red and white wine on tap. The other side was a lot larger and spacious and had a larger dining area with lots of wines available and plentiful seating. I had breakfast here, which offered scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, cold plates, pancakes and oatmeal. Everything was tasty, though my only complaint was that the scrambled eggs were very salty. Restroom facilities are clean, which offer individual-stall rooms. They offer Skandinavisk brand hand soap, Skog ("Forest") which was quite pleasant to smell. If I'm back in Arlanda, I wouldn't mind stopping by here again to grab a bite to eat and to unwind a bit before my flight.

Go here and you will find great cocktails. Go here and you…read morewill get posh service. Go here and you will find a classy lounge. But it all have its price, and at this premium located spot, you will pay its price, and you will be happy about it, even though you wont get any gold. It can get pretty crowded later on, so be there in time, to secure your night in glam. A perfect place to start off your night at, or drop in for a cocktail. The atmosphere is great and the ceiling height among with all the other details, will give you the classiness you deserve. Biggest con is that sofas and armchairs provide you too great comfort, so great, that you might end up sitting here all night. Sit down, have a drink, enjoy...

We got a nice chair to sit & very good professional service, they come to your table, take your order & bring your drink to the table. It was perfect for a chat & a drink with a friend. Music is neither too loud nor too crazy ( lounge music) & you get a decent chair to sit & keep your honor (by not having to crowd others in a cramped space at the bar & stretch half way to the other side of the bar to get the bar tender's attention!) The crowd is pretty mixed, there were mature & middle aged people, very young(20+) groups & some couples. If you are looking for somewhere to have a drink & chat (& be able to hear each other!) this is really nice place.

Cool hotel with lots of history. Stayed here on points so I can't speak to the price, but it was…read moreworth checking out. We were able to check in a bit early which was nice and the front desk guy mentioned he gave us an upgrade due to our Marriott status. Our room was tiny and overlooked the "courtyard," which was just some AstroTurf on the ground, so I'm not sure what a non-upgraded room is, but our room worked out fine just the same. The location of the hotel was terrific and super walkable. The bathroom was small but nice. There didn't seem to be a bathroom fan so it got pretty steamed-up with a hot shower, but I think the mirror was heated as it cleared up faster than normal. Our king-sized bed had two twin comforters, which, as an American, was unexpected but it worked out very nicely by avoiding a tug of war for the covers. There were no USB ports, which I would have expected at a hotel of this level, but that's a very minor point.

Lovely hotel. Great location in the middle of everything. Staff were friendly and the breakfast…read moreincluded in our rate was excellent. The only snafu was a bumpy check-in, where the really sweet front desk agent who checked us in apparently didn't check us all the way in. Seriously how does that happen? We signed, we put up the credit card for incidentals, we got keys, the tv had my name on it to welcome us and we spent the 1st night in the room with nothing seeming amiss, and upon disclosing our name and room number we were welcomed to the breakfast that next morning. But then that day we got a no-show charge via email and worried housekeeping would pack up our belongings with the room showing as unoccupied in their system, so upon our return from that day's interrupted activities we had to sort it out. They checked us in (again) but this time for realsies and they said the no-show charge was the same as the room charge so our 4-night stay became officially a 3-night stay. I'm still not sure if the rate stayed the same but it all seemed more or less fixed at the time... but now Marriott Bonvoy isn't giving me credit for the room night and the points so I'm still dealing with it weeks later which is crazy because we were there. So annoying. But the hotel really was nice. The room was spacious, the lounge was beautiful with an enormous multistory chandelier and the breakfast really was epic. Lots to see via short walks, meals, destinations and transit access in every direction. Nice place.
