Came back to my favorite spray tanning salon for my wedding spray tan! Orzella took care of me as per usual! I went with the dark olive shade as it was 3 nights before my wedding day and I wanted to make sure the tan was still holding up by the wedding day. I purchased the tan extender and the tan shower wash which really made a difference! My tan was so even and glowy, I felt so confident on my big day and got so many compliments! I got sprayed last week as a trial for my wedding at the end of the month. I enjoyed my spray tan and the staff. I would say avoid going around 3pm or whenever the school gets out as there is a long line of cars turning onto the street and it's almost impossible to find parking during that time. I had to park at Ace and walk across a very busy street. Another downside, it was sooooo hot in the building. It was maybe mid 70s when I got my tan and I was sweating the tan off before I left. She offered to re-spray parts that were dripping (under boob sweat) but I didn't have the time. I am nervous my wedding is next week and it's supposed to be 90s/100s. read more

I feel like there could have been more effort and attention placed on my side teeth (canines) They applied the whitening cream with more focus on the front of my teeth. I've been going to Aurora to get my teeth whitened for about 2 years now and the results never disappoint. I've never had any sensitivity with the products Orzella (owner) uses and with proper upkeep the whiteness lasts upwards of 5-6 months! She also explained that my technician was under the weather hence the forgetting the towel. I get it. The customer service is top notch and the way the business responded is exactly why I will for sure go back. 5 stars for my technician. 5 stars for the tan. 5 stars for the atmosphere. 3 stars for pricing and business discrepancies. There are two parking spots in front, otherwise there is street parking nearby for free. Super cute salon. Clean. I was greeted promptly, and my technician made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. She explained everything in detail and answered questions I had. She up sold me on the infrared bed at the end. I was charged $12, but the website says free if there during happy hour. My appointment was at 3:55, but we started at 3:35. She also forgot to give me a towel to walk from the spray room across the top floor to the infrared room. This didn't bother me, but it was a little strange walking naked out in the hallways. Luckily no other clients were there at the same time. The website webwas super easy to book the appointment. However, the link to "tanning instructions" didn't work for me on two different computers on three different days. My tan looks amazing and that is the bottom line. I'd go back. read more

I love this place! Now it's the only place I'll get my spray tan. I drive 40 minutes from Alameda just to go here, and it's worth every minute of travel! My tan for my engagement shoot and bachelorette party both turned out great. Even my dad says it's the best spray tan I've had (I've been getting spray tans for years) and he even came here for a spray tan! I'll attach a photo from my engagement shoot for reference :) They provide disposable underwear, sticky pads for your feet, lotion for your palms etc. Five stars all-around! Side note: They have some really cute clothing pieces for sale on the clothing rack by the bathroom. I found a gorgeous silk dress here and can't wait to wear it. The place was closed, I called and text them via the numbers I confirmed on and no one ever reached out to apologize or own up to them being a no show. These reviews must be false on Yelp bc they have horrible customer service and after contacting another company to get a tan I was told they had numerous ppl come to them to fix their tan after getting one from this place. We had the most amazing AMAZING experience here at Aurora with the professional staff, aesthetic setup, and clean equipment!!!! Definitely recommend if you are looking to whiten your teeth professionally. My friend and I visited Aurora for the first time to get our teeth whitened on a Friday. We were able to make an appointment on our desired date and time when we called initially about 2 weeks ago. Staff confirmed our appointment and made sure we followed the pre-treatment instructions (no brushing or flossing 4 hours prior to the treatment) We were running 30 mins late the day of and the staff DID NOT give us any attitude and was supper understanding! Their shop is very aesthetically set up and has a relaxing vibes. Doesn't feel intimidating or uptight. The outside looks like a little cottage and the inside feels like a cozy Airbnb! Sophia was the lady who checked us in and provided us the treatment was super sweet. She was professional and clear with her instructions and explained to us how the whitening works which made me feel a lot more at ease. Throughout the hour of treatment, Sophia was consistently checking in on us even though she was busy with other customers in the spray tan room. She really went above and beyond to make our experience super amazing! After the treatment, we were provided detailed instructions on what to do for the next 24 hours in order to ensure our teeth are being taken care off. Sophia was happy to answer all the questions that we had. They DO NOT try to ask you to try other services like what other beauty care places do. Stay far away from this business. The owner is money hungry and will manipulate you and your money on packages. I had been a long time customer and had seen her nickel and dime me about "upgrades" and adding costs for things that weren't listed or even an actual cost but I let it ride because I liked her services and was supporting a woman owned business. But then she went too far. I bought a package for $199 for 5 tans. I was only able to use 2 tans before ending up needing 3 surgeries in 4 months and when I called her back and explained, she canceled my other 3 sessions claiming they had expired and kept the money. A few days before my friend's wedding (that I was a bridesmaid in), I went to Aurora with the bride for spray tans. Everyone was very sweet and helpful. Luckily, the bride's tan turned out ok. Mine, however, was super botched. I had a white stripe of no tan than went all the way from the side of my hand, down the side of my arm, to my side (see photos). It was super clear that this area was missed entirely. Considering the spray tan happened in a small, super dark room with a single standing lamp with one bulb (that she moved closer to try to see better), I am not super surprised. I emailed them to ask if there was anything that I could do, if they could help correct it before the wedding, as the bride was unhappy with her zebra-style bridesmaid, but I never heard back. That was in October of 2021. I would have followed up via phone, but I was busy being in a wedding. *Then* I got surprised with my first trip to Hawaii, where I got engaged. I ended up scrubbing all of my skin off to get rid of the ridiculous looking spray tan before my proposal. It really sucks..because I have a gift certificate for a free tan with them and I don't know if I'd risk it again..even for free. I honestly was not very upset at first, as I know things happen sometimes. But once I never heard anything from them, I was left with a sour taste in my mouth. Especially since it was the first time I'd treated myself to a spray tan because I was excited to look and feel my best for the special occasion. I really hope that my experience was a fluke and that any issues I've mentioned have been addressed since October (especially the lack of light in the spray tan room). read more

I have tried the red light therapy before this visit, so I knew what to expect and wasn't looking for a miracle transformation. Upon my visit, I learned about all of the other services that Aurora offers and got to see the cute salon. I was given great customer service and thought the place was very cute. Looks like a fun place for a pre-bridal pampering party. I m really looking forward to getting my teeth whitened here soon. My first experience with Aurora Organic overall was pretty great ! I did the organic teeth whitening, Orzella was super sweet, helpful and explained everything very well. I loved my results, sooooo much better than bleaching so I really want to come back again, and plan on doing so. There are only a few suggestions I have. I did experience a slight burn/blister on my lip from teeth whitening transferring on to my lip during the whitening process. After communicating this information to the owner I was impressed with her professionalism in assuring me she would contact the brand of the teeth whitening product they use in finding out how they could prevent this in the future. They are also in the middle of a remodel, so I totally understand how right now they are still doing services and working on things so I get how things might not be totally in order at the moment, for that I am forgiving. However, I do think there are a couple of things that could be tweaked for future customers. I could not find pricing anywhere on the site or when having booked my appointment and it was hard to reach someone by phone, I understand they are available by text. For some reason I really thought I would receive an email at some point with more in detail instructions and clarification on price without having to call or text in. I was not informed about the "all white diet" until after I came in and had asked about any specific after care instructions. I was told only after I had asked and had already begun the process of the treatment. I had anticipated already that there would be some instructions I would need to follow, but no one had told me until I had asked. I think it would be nice for future clients to have that written in the email for the appointment so they know in advance and can plan accordingly because some future clients who have never done teeth whitening before might not be aware. Lastly, like I said I know they are in the middle of a remodel, but I think some trays where you can place your mouth guard in between the LED light and rinsing would be nice. I had to keep place things on my lap which was hard because I couldn't look down , and things were flopping everywhere and had layers and balls of paper towels all over my lap. I think a side table tray that goes over my lap would help prevent some of that. Overall, I did really like this over bleaching and I do want to see this business succeed so I'm looking forward to coming in again in a few months and hopefully they are almost done with their remodel and have made some tweaks to their teeth whitening process. It's an A+ for me over dental teeth bleaching. The healing process was sooo much better than at the dentist. The results were fantastic, and the owner was apologetic, professional and responsive to my concerns. Looking forward to coming in again, and giving an update in the future. read more

I haven't felt so naturally pretty in so long. The accelerated spray tan is perfect if you have to go after work so that you can rinse it off before bed. I got so many compliments the next day! Finding this place was super easy and right across from the salon is a public parking lot. Tons of parking is a plus! I called to let them know I was running late because my dog wouldn't come out of my car. I asked if they were dog friendly (dumb question really on my part lol) but she said I was welcomed to bring him. So Tucker and I headed down over 15 mins late and all - yikes. But the woman working at the salon was super sweet and loved tucker. We got started right away. I was in my own little room which was nice, hence why it was okay for Tucker to be there. I wouldn't recommend bringing your pet for a tan though, that sounds like a mess waiting to happen! So they start off with showing you what color your teeth currently are on the scale, I was at a 4-5 more leaning towards a 5. Then you apply a desensitizer on your teeth, vitamin E around your gums and then the teeth whitening product. You do this three times in intervals of 20 mins being a total of 60 mins. After wards they show you where your teeth are at again on the color scale, at this point I was at a 1-2. Once done we went downstairs, had a great short convo with the woman that helped me, paid and left. UPDATE: After Amy, the Owner messaged me almost immediately after I posted I longer have the same complaints. The additional 30 mins is for set up and prep and we simply shot through it all with no issues. The 6-8 shades lighter is an average but there are other factors that can hinder the whitening process (coffee drinking, etc) I would say my lack of knowledge is what cheated them out of a 5 star review. But thank you Amy for being extremely responsive and explaining to me the details I mentioned in my review! I appreciate how quick you are in communicating with your customers :) All in all would I recommend? Yes. My teeth look a whole lot better and they take all the credit for that :) read more
