The very best! Breathtaking views! Best hotel in Fairbanks. Highly recommend especially if you're looking to see the northern lights.

I stayed here 3 times in the mid to late nineties. Once with my 2 kids, a colleague and her mom,…read moreonce in March with my daughter, and once when I taught Vacation Bible School. Each time Marnie and Lambert made me feel like family. They were so personable and welcoming. At that time it was still a B&B and truly one of my favorite places to stay while in Alaska. I so regret not getting back there if for no other reason than to visit with Marnie and Lambert.

I would definitely stay here again. I picked this place because of the central location, but don't…read morebe fooled into thinking you can really walk anywhere in Fairbanks, especially in winter. Everything is quite spread out. My dad and I stayed in the nannyberry room, which had two twin beds and a private bathroom. There was obviously a lot of thought put into everything they provided- there's an outlet with USB ports, many hooks for all your gear, 2 (!) luggage racks, a fridge, sound machine, and an actual alarm clock. You can control the heat within your room, and there's a fan to help circulate. There's also an oscillating fan in the closet. They ask you to take your shoes off outside the room, they can certainly get dirty! I loved the quality of the linens and the thick towels, along with bathrobes. The hosts were fine about us arriving after midnight and left a key and great directions for us. Service could have been a bit more friendly but every question we asked was answered. The one thing missing is displaying or communicating the WiFi password to you. Lots of free parking and definitely a great price.

I already miss this place! My husband and I have traveled to a lot of places around the world and…read morewe have stayed at so many different types of places and this bnb will definitely be one to cherish and remember. Kathy Alonzo was our host and she was a wonderful host. We stayed with her for six nights and every morning, she made a delicious breakfast for us. When I'm on vacation, I like to sleep in and wake up like at noon or in the later afternoon, but here, I would get up at 7:30am just to have a serving of her yummy food. On our arrival, she took my husband and I out to a saloon and made burgers for us there. At home, she read poems to us in front of a fireplace. Also, she would alert us when the Northern Lights would come out. THE PLACE: It was impressive and exceeded our expectations. It was a wooden log house that I believe is about 2,000 sq. footage. We had the upstairs bedroom and it had windows that allowed you to see the Northern Lights when they came. Additionally, we had a jacuzzi. We also had two other beds behind our room that was kept separate as if the two beds were in a secret room. Our room was very spacious and super cozy. It's like, we never really wanted to leave our room space because it felt so good just being in there. The house also has a sauna room and a washer and dryer for your clothes. The service we received from Kathy along with the comfort and beauty of her home is unforgettable. Leaving here, was like leaving a family member due to the great relationship we were able to build with her and I HIGHLY recommend her place!

The house is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. She even accommodated my food allergies. And the Aurora lights were great out there. Unfortunate that no one has review them on Yelp yet.
