But beyond the workouts... it's the sisterhood that sets this gym apart. I've never experienced anything like the daily inspiration I get from the women here. I've built amazing friendships, and we cheer each other on, hard. The coaches? Absolutely amazing. They lead with both expertise and heart--always helping with form, motivation, and reminding you what you're capable of. Your "corner" in life is made up of the people who love, challenge, and support you. I'm lucky--my corner is bigger than I ever imagined. In fact, it's more like a triangle --filled with women who continue to add so much value to my life. Whether I see them every day, occasionally, or not at all anymore... whether we started off close or had to grow into our connection... I'm grateful for every single one of them. Even when I had to step away from the gym for health reasons for 8 months in 2023, they never stopped cheering me on--and I'll never forget that. I work in Ormond Beach and live about 30-40 mins away and I don't mind the drive at all. That's how much I love it here! The classes are only 30 mins. The coaches are inspirational and encouraging. I'm doing the 6 week kickstart and it's only been 3 weeks if I remember correctly. I'm mentally, physically, emotionally stronger and find myself more happy everyday. Oh! If you love to workout and you're visiting from out of town, or even if you live in the Ormond Beach area, SkyActive Strength Studio is a workout that you don't want to miss. It has a limited membership base so there is never a waiting line on whatever piece of equipment you want to use. This gym is small and not the easiest to access but it's in the same building as Pinch A Penny. Bring your own headphones!
