Omari answered all of our questions during the tour with no hesitation. She mentioned the classroom my son would be in the kids perform above their grade level and can read! The staff provides excellent attention and care. It feels like home already and Oxford made upgrades at the school. For our youngster, Ms. Krystal has made the transition into the class incredibly simple. Our procare is updated often, and kids do really pick up a lot of knowledge here. At pick up, he tells us how much he loves his new school, how much he admires his classmates and all the things they learn! This isn't "another" check to this school. My mistake was going for "well known" "name brand" schools. Don't sleep on daycares & academy's like this in the area. The level of teaching and care is on another level. We love little house learning center. My son has been here for 7 months now, starting out at 4…read moremonths old. The teachers are so sweet and attentive. My son loves going to day care every day. Every day he is smiling going into the class. The teachers are fun and enthusiastic. Daily we receive several pictures throughout the day, we get notifications of how much milk he drank, all diaper changes, meals he ate (and how much he ate), and naps (and how long he napped). I would highly recommend this school. I can only account for the 0-2 year old classes but look forward to continue bringing our son to this school. He is learning so much and having a blast. My husband and I have peace of mind leaving our little boy with his teachers while we are hard at work at our jobs.

I am writing this to warn other parents about this dangerous and unprofessional daycare. My…read more3-year-old son repeatedly came home with unexplained bruises and scratches. The worst incident was on 10/20/2025, where he had visible injuries (face, head, back, and side). Staff gave multiple conflicting stories and refused to show full camera footage. Police report filed: OCA 25-070182. They claimed another 3-year-old assaulted him, yet no staff stepped in to stop it. This was not the first injury. He chipped his tooth on 9/26/2025 with no proper documentation. There were at least two other times he came home hurt with no explanation. Every time I asked to see video, I was ignored or denied. The regional director admitted on police body cam that they were understaffed. Despite promising to call me the next day, I never heard back from the owner or management. High staff turnover, dirty facility, chaotic classrooms, and unsafe practices are all major issues. Older children are mixed with 3-year-olds. Teachers appear overwhelmed and disengaged, and hygiene is terrible (filthy carpets, bathrooms, and toys). They also mishandled illnesses including multiple RSV and COVID cases and lied about health exposures. The food is poor quality and there is no real kitchen, just aisle stoves. Between the safety concerns, lack of supervision, refusal to provide transparency, and dishonesty, this daycare is a serious risk to children. No parent should go through what my son and I experienced. I do not recommend Star Light Learning Academy to anyone

I have had two children enrolled at this Primrose location. My eldest was enrolled here in 2023 and…read morein 2025 I enrolled my youngest. If you would have asked me my opinion of Primrose in 2023, I would have given them an extremely positive review. However, in 2025, I would not say the same. I pre-registered my youngest daughter for the 2025/ /2026 school year in February 2025. I paid the deposit in April 2025. However, despite my address being exactly the same in Procare as it was when my eldest daughter was previously enrolled, I never received registration paperwork from the school, despite my emailing and asking the new director, Danielle Nash, several times. When I went to the meet and greet about a week before school started, my daughter was not placed in a classroom. She did not have a seat, a backpack, or supplies ready. Not only this, but her name was spelled incorrectly, despite me spelling her name correctly on the pre- registration paperwork. It was at this point that I was already having a bad feeling about enrolling my daughter at Primrose. On the first day of school all of my daughter's things were tagged with the wrong name and she was called the wrong name all day despite her telling the teachers her correct name. The school is completely disorganized. When I reached out and emailed Miss Nash about my concerns, she did not reply. Not only did she not reply, but for the rest of the month my daughter was enrolled, she seemed to be giving me the cold shoulder. Everyone else at the front desk, Miss Odom, in particular, were extremely friendly and welcoming. The final straw for me was when my daughter fell at school. I understand accidents happen. However, I did not receive an incident report. I only received a brief message on Procare. The message did not stress how serious the injury was or how my daughter was feeling. Nobody cleaned or bandaged my daughter's wound. The level of thoughtfulness and care that used to be present at Primrose are no longer. I am not sure if it is the staff changes or management issue, but the school is extremely disorganized. I can no longer in good faith recommend the school.
