We love little house learning center. My son has been here for 7 months now, starting out at 4 months old. The teachers are so sweet and attentive. My son loves going to day care every day. Every day he is smiling going into the class. The teachers are fun and enthusiastic. Daily we receive several pictures throughout the day, we get notifications of how much milk he drank, all diaper changes, meals he ate (and how much he ate), and naps (and how long he napped). I would highly recommend this school. I can only account for the 0-2 year old classes but look forward to continue bringing our son to this school. He is learning so much and having a blast. My husband and I have peace of mind leaving our little boy with his teachers while we are hard at work at our jobs. read more

I have really enjoyed The Little House. I put my daughter there when she was 3 months old and they have gained my trust. The employees are all very nice and they are great about already updating the app with what's she is up to and send pictures of her everyday. Once she was accidentally scratched and they immediately reported it and let me know. I have had a great experience here. read more

I would absolutely not recommend this daycare. They are very money driven and take advantage of their clients The only reason we selected this daycare is because they claimed to be very familiar using the military childcare aware grant to subsidize our daycare . They even have a billboard in the front.We enrolled my daughter to daycare. It seemed fine , I loved my daughters teachers .then recently, one day the owner ms Doris , tells me so nonchalantly, they no longer have the certifications needed to be covered with childcare aware grant and I have to pay full price , keep in mind , I pay 133weekly to now 288 weekly. There was no apology and they still expected me to give them a 2weeks notice, which finally, after realizing how outrageous that was they finally said I wouldn't have to give the notice . They knew how long their certification was good for but conveniently only mentioned after they no longer had it to capitalize on our pockets and knowing it would be a few weeks before we would be to make other arrangements for our daughter. I have 2 children attending the Little House Learning Center and I love them! They have done a wonderful job with my 4 year old and infant. My infant does not eve. Cry at drop off, letting me know she's happy here. Anytime I go to the director or assistant director with a concern, they listen attentively, showing care and compassion and they always follow through with what they say!! If you want your kids to be in a safe, nurturing environment, this is the place. My 4 year old always has a ton to say about the wonderful activities in which he participates!! I know children are going to have accidents but these didn't have to happen...It took me a while to bring myself to write this review as I am still not over the incidents that took place here. I had to take my 1 year old out of the Little House Learning Center after just 2 weeks of her being enrolled! Months before enrolling her, I contacted Little House because they had such awesome reviews! The second week--a nightmare. While at work, I received a voicemail saying that my daughter had an incident where she fell and injured her face on a chair! In the voicemail the young lady tried to assure me that my daughter was ok. This call came in several hours after the incident occurred and close to the time we usually picked her up. When I spoke to the little assistant director, Crystal, the same girl who left the message, she once again tried reassuring me that my daughter was fine, she ran down what was done for my daughter's injury (which did not coincide with the incident report or video) and warned me that she would have a bruise on her face! Her face! Ok my first question here, why wasn't I called immediately after the incident? My second question, if you guys could not reach me why didn't you call her dad? Both numbers are on her paperwork! While reviewing the video playback of her incident, I saw an assistant teacher move my baby off of another child's sleeping mat because it was naptime and she placed her on the floor and proceeded to walk in the direction of my baby's mat without my baby...my child loses her footing and falls face first into a chair! They were walking around laying every other kid down but decided to just bypass mine! Why? Sounds preventable to me! Ok next incident happened the very NEXT day! Again, my daughter has fallen, from standing in a chair! Unsupervised, yet both teachers Kayla and assistant teacher Israel were RIGHT THERE! Yet, another preventable accident and they did nothing but look at my baby stand in the chair and turned back to eachother to continue whatever they were talking about to eachother! This time my baby fell and busted her lip, bleeding and a scar that remains under her lip! I am livid and so is her dad. The excuse we were given by the director Jeannie, is that its called the "Climbers" classroom for a reason, this is what they do. This maybe so but supervision is still a necessity when it comes to caring for children. I was also told that the teacher "told" my baby to get down(how do you know that from a video playback with NO audio?), even if that were true, at the time of these incidents, my baby was 14 months old which means she can listen but she still needs assistance following directions and which also means hey she may have gotten herself up there but she may not know how to get down! And that was the problem, she thought she could just walk off of the chair and fell. While watching this video of my child falling, there was another little boy climbing the bookcase, UNSUPERVISED! For both incidents, we had to deal with the assistant director, Crystal, who has absolutely no idea on how to calm down and deal with angry parents. Jeannie was never around during either of these incidents. I was told my husband, my child's father, was not allowed back into the facility because of how he responded to Crystal and other staff but look at how the staff responded to my baby. My baby was not cared for in this place at all so I do not blame him at all for how he responded, anybody who loves and cares for their child and sees outright neglect happening would react the same way. This place is not all that its cracked up to be. The workers are young, lack the necessary experience to deal with babies and parents, and they just do not care and they lie to you as evidenced by incident report, video and phone call. These children are just another dollar for places like this. Jeannie acted like she cared but if so she could have attempted to make one phone call to check on my baby! To put the cherry on top, my child contracted HFMD on her last day there, the day of the last incident. I'm know all daycares and schools have illnesses that float around and around but this one had them back to back which made me question how clean they really were--I actually watched Kayla neglect to wipe the changing table after changing my child's diaper before and mentioned this to the director. This is how those nasty diseases are spread! What a negative experience and I wouldn't wish this on any parent or child. Both incidents happened October 25th and 26th of 2017 to be exact and were recorded. Please parents just do a thorough check of these facilities and the people working in them who claim to give a damn about our babies. My son have been attending this school since last year. Haven't had problems here. I loved it there. They had activities, my son and I attended mostly the events. He started out in designers. He is very hyper so I can understand him bouncing off the walls. He did gain an attachment to his Teacher Kayla which was promoted to Assistant Director. My son loved his teacher. She will tell me how he was doing and say he's my best friend. He have his moments where he hits and have tantrums. Which was told to me and I cut out anything that shows hitting like power rangers.Ms. Kayla resigned. He started pre-k 2 weeks ago and that's when the angels have fallen. I was getting bad reports from the school his behavior is out of control. He is spitting kicking hitting the teachers. I saw 2 video footages of 2 incidents. I had to ask are you guys thinking about kicking him out, the other Ms Kayla who is the director told me yes if it's not under control. They want me to send him to Peditrician to get looked at. Which I did, set him up for a behaviorist and a speech therapist. Now this is where I have the issue, my son doesn't act like this outside school so that was a red flag to me. I did not like how I am doing everything to fix it schedule appointments to see what's going on. It wasn't enough. Didn't even give me time to handle the situation. Ms. Doris told me my child needs help. I don't think that's appropriate to tell someone that about their child. Very disrespectful. I am was so frustrated Because thy didn't give me time. Took him to another daycare the following day and he had a good report. Didn't lash out on nobody . The teacher was shocked that he had bad experience at little house. Since I have been there, numerous of teachers have came through there and quit. So the question is what is going on in the facility that's causing the teachers to quit. read more

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR INFANT OR CHILD TO THIS DAYCARE! Just like posts prevoius to mine, my 4 month old infant was injured at this daycare and the teacher tried to cover it up by saying he injured his self but he was only an infant who couldn't even fully sit up. I had to take him to the emergency room for a head injury and then the teacher even confessed to lying and no recourse was taken. They didn't even call to check on him after the incident happened and actually claimed we didn't pay them when I had receipts of all my payments. I had to immediately withdraw my son and am still searching for a place. My son as an infant was clearly left unsupervised by the teacher, Sonia. This place is dangerous, my child brain development could have been affected by him being left unsupervised around another child who was mobile and hit him in the head with a tambourine( still trying to figure out what this item was doing in an infant class). The place is a scam and the amount of money you pay to not get the best care is Crazy! My infant who could not defend his self, could have been badly hurt and the teacher was careless and deceitful to not tell the truth for fear of being in trouble and all she was given for lying was a tap on the wrist. DO NOT PAY this outrageous amount for no safety. THEY ALSO REFUSED TO ROLL THE DVR BACK TO ACTUALLY PROVE THAT THE TEACHER WAS TELLING THE TRUTH THIS TIME. IM STILL LOOKING FOR CARE FOR MY SON AND I HOPE THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO ANOTHER PARENT. read more

All three of my kids (4,2 and 1) have been at the LHLC for over 2 months now and they LOVE it ! This is an awesome daycare and preK. Within two months, my 4 year old is not only speaking English (we recently moved here) but he's also speaking Spanish ! The owners are often around and are more than available to talk to. All the staff and teachers are wonderful and it shows that they love kids. The menu is amazing, hearty "home" cooked meals with fresh ingredients made on site fresh, everyday. They send us pictures of the kids everyday, always doing interesting activities, using imagination, materials, arts and crafts. My kids are treated individually and their needs are always met. I highly recommend this daycare ! A special thank you to Ms Jeannie who is always there and available no matter what the question or concern. Thank you LHLC !! read more

PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOU KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL! It started off great and turned into a nightmare, they left my daughter unattended! She had an accident in her clothes and when I got there I didn't see my daughter. I asked the front desk assistant (Chrystal) where my daughter was and she said she had an accident and they left her in the bathroom. I get back to the class and shes in a closed bathroom naked, crying, & they brought her a chair to sit on. According to her teacher she had been in there 45 mins alone as they tried to find clothes. I provided clothes which they chose to give to another student when she had an accident and failed to ask or mention it. When i brought it to the director (Jeanie) and the owner (Doris) they were less than apologetic and only offered $20 to replace the stolen clothes. No one called me to say my child had an accident and needed clothes or anything. They stuck her in a bathroom and left her. They only care about the money at this school not the kids! From the owner to the toddler room teacher Karen who speaks to everyone as if they're beneath her; this place is a nightmare! As a childcare worker myself it's very disappointing to see money hungry people care for children! BEWARE! $200 a week is not worth your childs safety! read more
