Dealing with annual property tax valuations can be frustrating, but partnering with Five Stone…read moreProperty Tax Advisors has completely eliminated that stress for us. They are not just a service; they are genuine advocates who take the fight to the appraisal district and deliver tangible results. The reason I highly recommend them comes down to their unmatched dedication to the client. Five Stone has always, and I mean ALWAYS worked hard for us. Fighting for our best interests. Shout out to Wade Gordy, one of the best you have at the company! That personal commitment and drive to advocate for us is why we remain loyal clients. It's truly comforting knowing we have someone so sharp and dedicated in our corner. Thank you Mr. Gordy! If you own property and are tired of paying more than your fair share, Five Stone Property Tax Advisors is the investment that pays for itself.

Useless service that cost us money when we tried to use them. We signed up a few years ago (2024)…read morefor the purpose of having them protest our property tax increase. They did zero work, literally zero, as soon as we signed up they literally told us to go find comparable property sales ourselves and sent a bill at the same time because they wouldn't do any work to try and protest for us thus they knew we would not find any savings. The entire reason we used them was to find the comparable and do the protest, which they didn't do either of. They should at least have a policy that if they have zero data they can use to make a case, you should not pay anything to them at all since they won't do anything. I would not use them again, I have contacted state representatives to suggest regulating this industry due to unethical companies like this one.

I was a loyal customer to the business that was bought out by Maryjo Boynton. The location was…read moreconvenient, so I continued to use her services. Prior to 2024 I had no complaints. However, after the amount of taxes due spiked in 2024, I decided to take a look at the numbers, and discovered an egregious error. They had utterly failed to account for the money I put into an IRA, which added about $1,800 to my taxes. I had submitted to them the form to report this. They failed. Period. The following is the text exchange I initiated after Ms. Boynton failed to return my phone calls. Note that she couldn't even be bothered to proofread herself. Quite the professional, eh? ME: Maryjo, I can't access the portal to pay my bill. I've left phone messages for 3 days, but haven't heard back. Please respond. Thanks. MS. BOYNTON: Mr. Haeuser, your portal has been closed. You were very definite in your last message to me that my service was not making you happy. I sent you back a message the next day- "if you are not happy with my services, which you have been receiving for the last few years you at a very discounted rate, then I suggest you find a new preparer that is what you consider affordable. I have deleted the return out of the portal. I will close you portal at the end of the week. Sincerely, Maryjo Boynton" ME: Ms. Boynton, I did not receive that message. If I had, why would I repeatedly call you to report an issue with the portal? That makes no sense, does it? At any time you could have simply returned my call, which your answering machine claimed would happen within 48 hours, but did not. As for being happy with your services, didn't someone else actually prepare my returns? The oversight on my IRA contribution could have cost me almost $1,800. Should I be happy about that, and the fact that I just realized it happened last year as well, and I'll need to file an amended return, which should be your responsibility? Check your records - I submitted all of the required forms. Prior to this, have I complained about anything, ever? No. And yet you immediately drop me as a customer, leaving me high and dry less than 2 weeks before the IRS filing deadline, while deleting all of my records, including prior years and all prior communications, including my willingness to delay a re-file for last year until you had more time available. You're seriously misreading this situation. The mistakes were not mine, and yet you're acting as though they were. To be clear, and for the record, these mistakes were made by employees of rbce, and should be rectified by employees of rbce. MS. BOYNTON: I can decide who my clients are and how to run my business. Look else where. You are no longer my client. MS. BOYNTON: You have an extension. You have plenty of time before the October deadline. ______ end of messages ______ A real professional, eh? IF YOU USE RBCE, I ADVISE YOU TO CONSIDER THE CONVERSATION ABOVE AND LOOK FOR TAX SERVICES ELSEWHERE. GOID LUCK!

Maryjo always takes care of us! We have every confidence in her skills and knowledge.read more
