The lattes are delicious, the scones are the best and the atmosphere is lovely. But the wait times are ridiculous and the prices of the sandwiches and kid's items are unreasonable. $9 for an egg, slice of lunch meat and a slice of cheese on a small bagel is more of a resort price. The kid's hot chocolate (milk and cocoa/sugar) was $4. And it's not really kid flavored (Mamas! You know what I mean) However, everyone is very friendly, the lattes are so good and served in real cups and the scones are the best I've ever had. So it's really a toss up of what someone is looking for in a coffee house. I'm thrilled to have such a wonderful place here in Ripon. read more

I quite like the interior of Austin's. Very comfy, lots of room, nice lighting. I also have found the servers to be friendly. However, the prices leave something to be desired. I didn't realize I would have to take out a small loan to get coffee. Over $5 for an iced coffee? Ridiculous. This is making me rethink whether or not I will ever return. Sad, because Ripon needs a nice coffee shop, but not at these prices. read more

Went in here while waiting for my dog to get neutered. it was so clean I loved it I love the decorations. it reminded me of being in Austin Texas. love the bathroom except I don't like sharing a bathroom with a man. Love, love, love. I drive 40-50 minutes from home just to go to Austin's. I had a delicious almond milk latte and steamed granola. So fresh and satisfying. I could tell that each item was carefully crafted just for me. Employees were warm and welcoming. I hung out for over an hour working on my laptop and was never bothered once. The iced coffee I purchased at Austin's today was hands down ten times better than any Starbucks or Pete's iced coffee I've had. All of the employees were polite and cheerful. The shop was impeccably clean the entire hour I was there. If you want fast cheap chain coffee, this isn't the place for you. I found Austin's almost a year ago and I consistently go back! I'm gluten free and they have an amazing blondie bar that o get every time i go. I like my coffee plain, but my boyfriend loves the troublemaker with almond milk. My friend also loves the chai tea latte! The staff is super friendly and always very kind! I really wanted to love this place since it is a small coffee shop, but I just don't. Every time I've been there, I've been disappointed by the coffee drinks I've ordered. I've gone 3-4 times and ordered something different each time trying to find something good. Each time I was disappointed and never finished a drink. Today, the milk was burnt in my latte making it extremely bitter. I think this place could be great if the baristas took a little time to make the drinks, rather than rushing through them and not paying attention. My husband and I have found our new favorite coffee shop! We love coming here to grab a coffee and read or do homework. The industrial/farmhouse feel just makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly and their drinks are just the perfect balance of sweet/strong. My husband likes to get the troublemaker with an extra pump of caramel, and I love their white mocha (not on the menu but they can make it if you ask) again it's not too sweet like most white mochas tend to be. I seen so many great reviews for this place so I had to try it out! I live in Tracy but I love discovering new coffee shops so I didn't mind the drive. The shop itself is very cute and clean and they also have a drive thru which is highly convenient. When I arrived I noticed the menu was rather small and they don't offer blended drinks. They weren't too busy (I went on a Sunday morning) but they did take a little longer than what I'm used to in a drive thru setting. I got a nonfat iced caramel latte and the coffee itself was pretty good but not the best. The price was a little high as well. I didn't try any pastries but they looked good. Overall, I gave a 4 star rating because I liked the environment, coffee was okay not terrible, and they have a drive thru. read more

Cutest coffee shop there ever was! From design/theme to how friendly and outright happy the staff is- just amazing! I normally work from home, but MIL in town and daughters spending time with her, i needed to get some things done. I've "escaped" here a few times the past week and a half and the atmosphere is great. I've never seen a coffee shop be so inviting to its smallest guests (small play house on table by all the lovely natural light), along with board games etc. I'll be coming back here, even after the MIL leaves haha! Vintage landscape paintings that you would find at your grandparents place are hanging on the crisp white walls, the exposed ceiling elevates all your favorite jams from Miles Davis to Louis Armstrong to Frank Sinatra to Etta James. The staff is friendly and helpful with all the answers to any questions you may have. I came in a little before 11am on a Sunday and it was not too busy. I had a chai latte with a blueberry scone. An absolutely awesome place to hang out and have some great coffee and treats! Totally impressed with the food as well as the specialty drink offerings, and a delicious cup of coffee. Very welcoming and warm hang out inside. Great play area for kids, very clean, nice quiet building and even though it's order at the counter service they bring out your food and drinks on these awesome boards and make a point to be helpful as if you were at a full restaurant. I will admit it's pretty pricey- but I guess that's what independents have to charge to survive. Worth the drive from Modesto to get coffee! read more
