Hands down, Dutch Bros is the best place for every coffee/energy/tea/etc need you could possibly have. I'm originally from WA, so when the first DB opened in the area (Manteca) I was so excited! I need sugarfree options, and places with green logos seem to forget people like me exist. Anyway, it was good, so busy the vibe DB should have wasn't there. But then came Ripon's location, a fast hop on 99 & I'm here. They all take care of me, interact with the customers, display the DB community type vibe that I'm used to! And I credit that to the store manager, Tommy. He is always right in there with all the employees, I see him at every spot. He remembers you, and treats you like a friend. And he has staff around him that do the same. If DB HQ was smart, they would come see how Tommy and crew run a store. There's a reason I drive over here from another town. We visited Dutch Bros since it sounded like the perfect place to stop by for a refreshing drink and it was great! The staff was friendly; they have a drive-thru and one table for seating if you're stopping by for a while. The drinks are generously portioned for the price they're at, and they have SO many types of drinks to order that the possibilities are literally endless. I finally broke my Dutch Brose virginity, and it was great. I think the only one that liked it more was my dog. The pup cup not only had whip cream but a treat in it. Now my dog only wants to go to Dutch brothers and cries if I pull up at another coffee shop. I had a mocha and it was on point. Normally had other large coffee chains. I have to get a little less chocolate as it's too rich, but this one was spot on. The creaminess was perfect. Literally ran back to bring us out a basic paper menu & didn't rush us into making a decision fast even though a car was behind us. The medium size drink is huge. We ordered a variety of coffees, teas & smoothies. Everything was delicious. The green peach & pomegranate teas were a bit on the sweet side so my stevia wasn't needed. This place is very fast and efficient, even though we always go to the drive thru. My family goes here at least once a week to get drinks. They have always been consistent in making them, and for the first time I tried the lemon poppyseed muffin top, and it taste so good! It actually paired well with the drink I usually get, which is a large Hyperchrome Lemonade. The employees are always friendly, which nowadays is hard to find, so I appreciate that. We have had excellent drinks here until the last 3 times. The Dutch freezes have been watery. Last time the girl was nearly on the verge of being hateful. She said the freezes are watery unless you order extra thick. I explained to her that we go once or twice a week and they were never watery until now. The first 2 times I made them redo the drinks. I just wanted to take a moment and thank Isaac for his service today. I stopped on my way to work, as I normally do. He noticed my work uniform and asked what I did for a living. I told him I was a 911 dispatcher and on my way into work for my 12 hour shift. He chatted a moment, and then stepped to talk to someone in the back. He came back and informed me my drink was free today. I asked him why and he said for being a first responder and he can give the discount as he sees fit. I ditched Starbucks after their anti-LE/pro-BLM movement and have stuck to Dutch Bros because the kids are always so friendly. After today, I will definitely be sticking to Dutch Bros. The "original" energy tastes like the caffeine syrup for Sodastreams so if you like that weird taste, go for it. Coffee is C tier at best.
