I know first hand do not expect your Pain Doctor to be your Primary Doctor he is not he is there to control your Pain and help you but I dare you to look around and find a better caring Doctor in Austin you wlil not.in the Pain care area . I have learned to write down everything and talk to your Doctor he can not read your Mind. let him know your concerns and ask .He can not help unless you tell him.

Then when I finally got to see him, he stayed only 3-4 minutes before leaving. At first I thought he was coming back because he never said goodbye but no, he was already with the next client. At first he seemed sweet but then he got mean. I always tried to ask questions but he hated that. He told me that seeing me made his blood pressure go up! And that with all his hundreds of patients he didn't have time to spend with me. There were many incidents like this. Once a new patient asked me in the waiting room what he was like. I told her the wait was always long but otherwise he was okay. Immediately he came out and put me in an exam room and told me he could sue me for slander! Then he left me there for over 2 hours. I finally opened the door to ask the nurses if I was forgotten. While chatting with them I asked their names as they were not wearing name tags. Dr. Wells suddenly appeared and said, "So now you are complaining about my staff too? " Very professional, right? The next day I received a badly copied, unsigned letter saying he was dropping me. No reason was given. When I called he said, "Good luck finding another pain doctor! " I told all my other doctors what happened and they were aghast, telling me how sorry they were I was treated so badly and that they found me cheerful and funny, especially given my condition. That really helped because by that time, I was feeling very low and stressed out because of Dr. Wills. I did find a wonderful pain doctor - Dr. Kery Feferman. She was always on time. Until ... Dr. Wills bought her practice! When she told me this, I burst into tears. She felt very badly after I told her my story. But she said she was committed to giving me great care and that I could call her if there was ever a problem. I have stayed with her because she is truly a terrific doctor and I've been lucky in that I haven't run into Wills. (And Wills: I have told my story to hundreds of people. So there!) I apologize for this long-winded review, but I feel it's important you know what a hateful man Dr. Wills is. I do highly recommend Dr. Feferman.

One more shocking aspect, After leaving a negative review on another platform Dr. Martha responded to the review instead of giving me a call to answer my follow-up questions that I told her office I still had. Looks like appearance is more important than patient care. My recommendation is to save yourself the visit and focus on finding the right practitioner

He is an extremely skilled surgeon, and contrary to the other review, as a woman, I never had issues feeling seen or heard, and I generally seek out female doctors for just that reason as well. He has always been kind, compassionate, and never made me feel "crazy" or like I was imagining issues with my arm/shoulder. Additionally, he worked WITH me instead of telling me what I *had* to have done and gave me sound medical opinions and advice. I recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic work!

Last time I saw him he was 81 and after several years away (me), i saw him again at 85 and he was still the same doc but with even more pep in his step! His staff has been with him for about 20 years which says something. He's very traditional but keeps up to date with modern pediatric medicine. His office decor is still kind of stuck in the 70's but I love it! He is ALL about the children. I'm going to cry when he is gone because he comes from an era of doctors that's hard to come by nowadays :(

We first visited her in 2009 when we had a tough situation in our first pregnancy, she helped us through it and, in fact, was good enough to convince our ob/gyn at time to delay c-section to allow a little more time for baby in utero. We are seeing her again with our 2nd pregnancy and even though we haven't quite had as many issues (we hope!), we are so pleased to have her care. She saw my name on patient list and insisted on doing my anatomy scan when one of the techs could have done it. She is so good at explaining options, tests, risks, etc. My husband and I both highly recommend her (as does our son, even though he never met her!)
