This place is definitely made for tourists however as a local it is also a fun place to visit. We have gone twice now as the show changes every now and then. The best way to describe it is similar to the Medieval Times dinner shows they have in the USA. However it is a VERY different show. The most reason time we went the story line was about the draught in Australia and needing water (rain) to help the crops grow. The story telling and incredible visual effects make the experience so exciting! Plus unlike medieval times, the horses don't compete or do random tricks (the riders do fun stuff though). The one thing that was amazing though is they taught their horses how to line dance when country music comes on! It's always such a fun experience and you get both dinner, show, and drinks included. Amazing show I would never miss it for the world! The horses acts are Amazing and every time I go it changes just a little bit.

My wife took me to this last weekend, what a great show! It had been on my list of places to visit for awhile, and it certainly didn't disappoint. They suggest arriving 45 mins early, this gives you time to have your photo taken (later printed and brought to you to give you the chance to purchase - 1 for $15 or 2 for $25), and a drink at the bar. There is of course a gift shop, but also at the bar you can buy a souviner glass or stubby holder with a beer of your choice. There is also some pre show entertainment. The show itself was very well put together, combining big projectors, lights, smoke machines and of course live entertainment. There is a good amount and variety of audience participation too. The food is decent, and the timing of delivery well planned to the show so that you aren't feeling like you're missing important bits of the show while you have your head down enjoying your tucker. I took my husband to see the show for an anniversary gift, and TBH I was a little worried that it might not be overly awesome, but I was struggling for gift ideas. Given that the show has been around for years (as has the venue), I thought perhaps it might be a bit "worse for wear" as many entertainment facilities seem to become after a while. Nope! We were wrapped up in the atmosphere from the moment we walked in! I thought you'd have to purchase the "cowboy" hat separately if you wanted one, but everyone got one when they came in. We posed for photos against a country backdrop which were printed and delivered to our seats during the show for us to purchase if so desired (we did). We got some beers from the Outback Bar as we took in all the Aussie outback/historic decor in the shed like pre-show area. There was pre-show entertainment and an intro to the show before we went inside. The audience was encouraged to really get involved in the show as we were allocated a home station (team) to support. The food was decent and delivered at strategic points throughout the show so as not to miss any of the real action while eating. The show itself was well put together and combined AV, special effects and live entertainment to great effect. I'd recommend going to check it out even if you're a local Aussie :) read more

Enjoyed the whole experience, from waiting in the barn having a few beers wearing cowboy hats listening to the band. Liked the authentic Aussie tucker including damper bread. The show was well done too. read more
