When I arrived...I was concerned that my soreness (I workout 6 days a week) would prevent from enjoying this massage. Hands down my new favorite massage therapist! Vanessa is so awesome! I first tried the 90 minute sports recovery massage which had band work involved and it did wonders. I never had that type of massage and I loved how my body felt afterwards. My body is always sore after an intense leg/glute day and after one session with Vanessa, my soreness decreased tremendously the following day. I told her what parts of my body get sore the most and she was able to feel where my knots were, and massaged them out. I also tried the regular 90-minute massage which was also great and relaxing. My body always feels 10x better after getting a massage from her. I love the ambience of her room. Chill, relaxing vibe with has an amazing music playlist! I am not sure where the positive reviews are coming from. I had one massage and found it to be terrible. She always has availability. When I finally scheduled a massage she raised the price- SHADY! The masseuse doesn't care about your comfort or what areas you need work on. There was terrible music playing and bright lights in your face. When I mentioned it, she just shrugged it off. Then missed the right side of my body and said we didn't have enough time. I have been getting massages for over 20 years. All over California and internationally. She honestly makes the environment so nice and welcoming that I can't help but relax. I've gotten 3 massages from her so far and all were GREAT. If you have limited mobility I'd definitely recommend the band massage. You will feel a difference!!! The deep tissue massage is also amazing. It's not too gentle and definitely not painful like some other places I've been to. Don't get me wrong.. she still puts on enough pressure to get those knots out!!!
