My husband and I booked a couples massage pretty last-minute--about 45 minutes before arriving--and were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. When we got there, the couples room was already fully set up and ready for us, which we really appreciated. When you arrive, they have you pay before the massage, and they prefer cash--so we paid in cash. Even though our reservation was so last-minute, everything was prepared and ready when we walked in. Once in the room, they asked us to completely undress and lay down. Throughout the massage, you're covered with a large towel that they adjust to keep you covered at all times. The massage followed a full-body routine: starting with the back, then lower back, glutes, legs, and arms. They stepped out briefly to get a hot towel to wipe us down, then had us flip over. On the front side, they did a face massage with serum, along with head, neck, and shoulder massage, and then arms and legs again. Our session was exactly 60 minutes--no more, no less. Everything felt professional the entire time. Neither my husband nor I felt uncomfortable at any point. After the massage, they left the room to give us time to get dressed, which we appreciated. I had read reviews beforehand and knew they expect a tip. We gave $20 total, and one of them asked, "For two people?" My husband said yes. You could tell they were hoping for a larger tip, which we understand. The inside of the place is okay--you get what you pay for. This is my local massage place. It's very convenient. It's down the street from Raleys, across the street from US Bank and down the street from the Post Office. Parking is plentiful I can usually get a spot in front. They share a lot with the other business in the shopping center. I've been here twice. The first time was only not ok. There was a gentleman at the front desk just chatting it up with the person at the front desk for almost the entire massage. He left right before I got done. But, it was so disruptive. I could clearly hear the conversation the whole time and it didn't make for a really serine environment. I came back on Thursday to give them another chance. Fortunately the man wasn't there so it was much more serine. She didn't ask what type of pressure I wanted like the last person did. The massage I got was a very deep tissue massage, much deeper than I would have liked. I should have said something and I tried to, but she though I really needed it get the muscles to loosen up. I've had both Pinky and Coco as my massage therapists. I've been several times and the massages are excellent, and I always walk feeling very good and pain free. The only thing is that they consistently have not provided me a massage for the full 60 minutes or 90 minutes. They always end at least 7-10 minutes before. It seems that they leave the room frequently, supposedly to get a hot towel, but not always, and don't return for several minutes. Once the lady left at least 5 times, for nothing relevant to the massages, to answer the phone or someone out, and even leaving the DOOR OPEN. One time she asked me in the middle of the massage about how much I am going to tip her. That really put me off. While the massages are 5 star, customer service is 2 star. read more

I was in Sacramento this past weekend on a Saturday night, in desperate need of a massage as I had just finished the American River 50-mile run earlier in the day, and getting ready for a 10-mile run the next morning. Looking for a massage place near downtown, this was the closest place I could find on Sat night, 10-min before 9pm, and they were still open and available at 9pm. Price was great, $40 for a full-body massage. I had Tina, and I specifically requested focus on my back and legs as I was hurting so much from my run, and that's exactly what she did for most of the hour, so that was awesome! Just the right amount of pressure (medium) as I requested, as I couldn't take it too hard. I got all loosened up, and did quite well in my 10-mile race the next morning. We had a couples massage and they left the door open the whole time so people walking past could see in. There was no music, the rooms were not well decorated and smelled - definitely not a relaxing atmosphere. I've been here a couple times. Always for the 60 or 90 min massage. They always do a great job, though you need to check the receipt if you ring up a card. One time they accidentally charged me 4 dollars instead of 40. :) Everyone there is super nice, but if you are particular whether its a guy or a gal massaging you, you should speak up. They have a phone line if you want to make an appointment but my odd Friday lunches have never required a wait at all. They have a whole bunch of options listed on the board, but basically they just ask you when they come in whether you want softer or "stronger" (harder). I usually tell them somewhere in the middle, and they always are perfect for me. At the end, they give you water and a candy (very nice touch) and they are always very kind. Watch the clock, though, because they come in and out a couple times (hot towels and stuff) and one time I thought the massage was over, so I was getting dressed, and the nice gal walked right in. I felt so bad because I know I scared her! Anyway, though it may not be in the fanciest place in town, I have never felt unsafe. It is right off the freeway, hard to miss. Had a couples massage with my boyfriend for my birthday. I would recommend this place to someone who is okay with being 97% naked. We left our underwear on and they pulled it really low toward middle of buttock. We never experienced that but we know places are different. My boyfriend felt a little violated and uncomfortable when his massage lady was too close/lightly grazed his private area. He thought it was an accident the first time but she did it again and he whispered to her no. Please remember, there's some people who are liberal when it comes to this but he is semi-reserved. They probably didn't mean any harm though. When massage was done, our bodies felt relaxed. We went to the front to drink our water and tip the ladies. We tipped $5.00 for each massage lady.
