However, I worked up a hunger and we decided to eat an early dinner. The restaurant opens for dinner at 4:30 PM. We arrived right before 5 and the France v. England third place World Cup Match was on. I got a mango lassi and we ordered chaat papri for an appetizer. I decided to order a lot so I could bring some back to Eric R. who loves Indian food. I got the badami chicken kebob as I had never heard of this but it sounded amazing. I also got lamb vindaloo. Rebecca K. got her own dish and garlic naan to share. The chaat papri game out with three chutneys on the side and it was SO good. The badami chicken was marinated in yogurt, lemon, almond paste, and spices. It was served with onions on a sizzling platter like fajitas! We got plenty of basmati rice with our meal. It was absolutely delicious. I had lots of food to take home and share with Eric R. the next day. The service was also excellent. I will definitely be back here to try new dishes, especially since there are many that I do not see typically on Indian restaurant menus.
