I had a very disappointing experience with Omar regarding my awning. I paid $3,247 for the awning, which was not done properly, and he made it worse by painting the letters in an unattractive and unprofessional manner. Initially, he quoted $1,050 for the lettering, but after completing the work, he unexpectedly raised the price to $1,650. When I questioned the price, he agreed to the original $1,050, but I made it clear that I would only pay once the issues with the awning were fully fixed.
From the beginning, the awning had multiple flaws, including:
* Smeared and misaligned letters.
* Extra fabric left on top that flaps in the wind.
* Uneven bottom white trim.
* Poor craftsmanship overall.
While Omar attempted some minor fixes, the quality remained unacceptable. Instead of improving the work, the lettering made the awning look even worse. Omar claimed the paint residue and smears would wash off over time and promised to fix everything on the weekend if I paid him first. It felt as though he wanted to take payment and then leave without addressing the issues, so I refused to pay until the work was done to a professional standard.
In the end, I paid $300 for the letters in good faith, but they were left in a horrible state--smeared, misaligned, and unprofessional. Over 60 days have passed, and the awning is now starting to fall apart. Omar has stopped responding to my messages, and there has been no further communication or follow-up from the team.
The request for additional payment while Phase 1 was left incomplete and flawed feels unreasonable and unprofessional. I would have been happy to pay in full if the work had been completed properly to the expected standard. Unfortunately, that never happened, and this experience has been extremely frustrating.
Based on this, I cannot recommend their services due to the poor workmanship, lack of follow-through, and unprofessional handling of the situation. read more
