David has many happy customers but he wasn't the right fit for us. He didn't take time to get a feel for what we were looking for or give me the time to look through sample books. He seemed to be in a hurry, rushed through the consultation and made me feel pressured into making a selection. David was rapid fire in the way he presented the fabric samples making it a very frustrating experience. He seemed to think I didn't like anything he was showing me, and said so, but really I was just confused, he was was not giving me time to look at a sample before he assumed my feelings on it and quickly pull out another sample. I'm not very demanding, I worked public service for most of my life and want to be kind to others working in customer service, but the customer service I got from David was just very weird, upsetting and stressful. read more

He was knowledgeable and was able to quickly diagnose that the motor connection was bad which was preventing the shade from being fully charged. We moved into a new home in which our builder did not offer any blinds or window covers so we were hard pressed to find quality coverings. David was my first pick but my husband wanted at least three bids but in the end David and his team got our business. Alan Weidberg is the nastiest man I have come across in a long time. He had to come out to my house several times because he either took wrong measurements, forgot his tools, or installed incorrectly. He consistently did not do what he promised. Less than a week after the job was complete (which took twice as long as projected) part of the window arch fell apart. He had the audacity to say "You are just going to have to live with it". I paid them $5k for the job and this is what you get. I have now filed a scam claim with my bank and a police report. I would NEVER do business with this company! BE AWARE! read more

The first thing we noticed in our new home was the amount of windows we have and worried how much it would cost to cover them with shutters. Very disappointed in the products / service sold by Southwest Interiors. Agreed to have them fit our entire house with motorized shades following a builder recommendation, which was a big mistake. After settling in to our new home, it became clear very quickly that the shades themselves were of poor quality (wrinkling, light, unstable, ill-fitting, etc.). David promised access lines to high windows, which were not installed as agreed upon. When pressed to complete the installation as promised, as well as re-fit some ill-fitting shades, David told us we would need to "pay his crew" for their time to fix what wasn't done correctly in the first place. Additionally, the technology sold to us is laughable, there have been multiple recalls requiring you to ship units to the manufacturer, it still doesn't work, and we have finally given up. We called real professionals (yes, Lutron, Hunter Douglas, Shade Store, etc.) and they legitimately laughed at the "smart home ready" tech sold to us from Rollease Acmeda. Hard lesson in getting what you pay for, skip over this one and get it done right the first time if you don't want to end up like me. read more

Would NOT recommend using - I called to have a price quote given for my new home. David came out today & quoted me a reasonable price (not the best) but takes 8 weeks for shutters to come in, meaning they're made overseas (which you do not want). At the end of our Appt, he quotes "are you going to use me?" I quoted "Im not sure yet as I have been getting a few different quotes & will decide this week." He threw a fit & said "well if I had known that, I wouldn't have spent my time driving here & doing all of this. Good luck -" and stormed out of my house, didn't shake my hand. Nothing. I don't know about you, but I am in sales & treating customers with respect. I hadn't considered shutters because I thought of them as they were back in the day - very traditional only and not for our over-sized Texas windows.
