They are no longer in business. Look for a new and better auto repair experience starting in January 2020

Took it back, they replaced the transmission again, still not working AND, now the windshield wipers aren't working. Hmmm... With the cost of a rental car 3 times, plus$3500, I'd say we are out a lot of money and still have a car that doesn't work well. You be the judge. I do not recommend this shop.

That kind of gives people the ability to trash a place without someone calling you out on it. Well, here I am...... #1 - You brought your 200,000 plus mile Ford to our shop for a noise YOU diagnosed as a broken flywheel. The noise was in fact pretty horrific. #2 - Fact, we removed your transmission, and your flywheel was broken, so we replaced it with an OEM flywheel. #3 - Upon completion of repairs, we realized that most of the noise you were complaining about was gone, but there was still noise coming from your engine. The noise you were complaining about was so bad, we couldnt accurately determine that it was not just a broken flywheel, but a problem inside the engine as well. #4 - No one deliberately blew up your engine here. We didnt even road test it except to drive it out of the shop at idle. You really think someone would deliberately blow up your engine? Paranoid much? You think the fact that the truck had over 200,000 miles might have something to do with it? Seriously, how much longer did you expect to get out of the engine? Dont get me wrong, its not that a motor cant last longer, but after that kind of use (especially a work vehicle), anything could happen at any moment. Your "opinion" that your motor was "solid" was not based on any actual facts. #5 - I am sorry for your problems and dont wish them on you, but seriously, as you stated, bring your truck to the dealer next time. Youre going to be in for some big surprises. Gary Manager

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!…read more On 10/3/25, my husband paid Lee Wiles / Common Vision LLC $1,020 (plus a $281 tip) for axle and brake repair. Less than 24 hours later, the car broke down in a dangerous way. AAA confirmed the repair was unsafe and improperly done, and another certified mechanic verified this. The axle came out and nearly caused a serious accident. When I contacted him, instead of refunding the payment, he admitted in text messages that "the axle came out" but refused to return the money. He also tried to deflect responsibility by making inappropriate comments about race and insisted on "fixing" it again -- despite my clear statements that I no longer trusted him after such unsafe work. I have full documentation: receipt, CashApp payment, AAA confirmation, mechanic statement, and text messages from his phone. This needs to be on record to prevent him from scamming and endangering others. He is also not listed with the BBB as a registered business -- but I have filed a complaint so there will now be a record. If he scammed you too, REPORT HIM. Businesses that operate this way do not last. Add On: It's not harassment to ask for my money back after a repair failed in less than 24 hours and almost caused an accident. AAA confirmed the axle came out because of improper work, and a certified mechanic verified this. I provided proof: receipt, CashApp payment, and text messages where Mr. Wiles himself admitted "the axle came out." I made it very clear that I would not allow him to touch my car again after such an unsafe repair. At that point, the only responsible action was to issue a refund. Instead, he refused, deflected responsibility, and made inappropriate comments about race. This is not about being "nice" or "polite." It's about safety, integrity, and accountability. I stand by my review and documentation. Others deserve to know what happened so they can protect themselves. DO NOT TRUST HIM!!

RE: Common Vision. Lee is the kind of mechanic who is passionate about diagnosing car problems and…read morefinding solutions. I found him here on Yelp and hired him for a PPI to look at a 2003 Tiburon. A family member is an enthusiast for these old cars which they wanted to make into a "hot hatch". I met Lee at the dealer, which was a long drive to the dealer for both of us. And of course the car was in a back lot 3 or 4 rows deep. So while waiting for the dealer to find the car and bring it to the front, Lee noticed some teenagers who were there to look at a Civic SI. One of them was checking for rust by knocking his knuckles on the car body. Lee smiled at this and went over to chat with them and before you know it, he was reviewing the car with them, explaining how you really check for rust, opened the hood and began digging into how to tell if this Civic was running well or not. He looks underneath the car by getting on the ground and actually looking. I noticed all the other guys, both the dealer guys and the buyers, were hesitant to do this. I think they were intimidated because he obviously knew much more about engines than they did. I was impressed that Lee has the instincts of an educator. He really wants to not just evaluate the car but to teach others how to examine a car. Eventually the Tiburon appears and then Lee quickly went through his process. He focuses on the engine and doesn't move on from that until all issues are covered. In this case, he zeroed in immediately on the coolant system. It wasn't holding pressure. I watched as he carefully tested and retested and showed the dealer technician that the system was bad and that it was leaking. We had already been there for an hour and a half so it was decided that the dealer would pull a hose from another car ( the dealer was close to a salvage yard) and repair it and then Lee would return to test it again. In the end, even the dealer gave up on this car, he didn't complete any repair and we moved on. But I will have Lee examine any car we are considering. He is an excellent mechanic, fair and honest.

Barely making it, I pulled in a parking lot, conveniently it was a mechanic shop. Max and his team not only had no issues taking my car in immediately the next day but also diagnosed the problem with ease and gave an in depth description of the issue, with a full breakdown of the costs. Well over a year later, I still feel fully comfortable and confident in having Max service my personal and family's vehicles. Not only is he very knowledgeable, he's personable, friendly and very fair with his prices. Most recently I had an oil change done on my new F-150 and without asking, his team filled my tires with air and performed a diagnostic/safety check at no additional cost. He's one that will remember you by name and won't pressure you into getting anything fixed. With anything I've had done, his team was more than happy to walk me back, show the problems, areas of concern needing replacement and if you agree, will write up an invoice for cost, never leaving you out of the loop a single step of the way. To conclude, I highly recommend Max's Auto for all your mechanical needs. I was tired and annoyed of getting ripped off at other places due to "mechanics" having limited knowledge/experience (specifically one in Mays Landing) to only take shots in the dark on what needs to be done, all at your expense. This isn't the case here and I've never felt that way with this shop. Thanks to you and your team Max, you've brought some hope back to me now knowing there are still good ones out there.

When we arrived at this particular dealership, and started looking around the lot and its sketchy location, there were very clear signals that we were walking into a sleazy operation. First, none of their numerous high-end Euro-cars had prices listed on the windshield! Secondly, many of them had "Buyers Guide" window stickers with a box checked: "AS IS - NO WARRANTY". It was obvious right at the outset that this dealership didn't or wouldn't stand behind their product. Right then, I was ready to get as far away as possible from this seedy establishment. However, my wife still wanted to take a peek at the BMW M5 and unfortunately by then, a young and inexperienced salesman came walking out to ask if she needed any help, by then it was too late! Just to keep him on his toes, we mentioned that she was seriously considering another Euro-car from a local competitor. Of course, he asked for her driver's license in order to test drive the car and asked if we wanted to come inside to get out of the hot sun and get the usual cold beverage routine. My wife saw me hesitating a bit and asked if I were coming in. At first, I felt better to stay outside because of the exuding negative vibes, but didn't want her to go inside alone either. As soon as we got to the salesman's desk, a sales manager approached us with the classic high-pressure tact. A few minutes later the original salesman had the car ready for a closer look-see with the driver's door open and engine running sending me more insidious signals. He suggested that we look the car over which my wife gladly did, although with his chaperoning. When she asked to test drive the car, the salesman said that the dealership didn't allow that without a guarantee that she was going to buy the car today and wanted to check her credit as well. Of course, after being shocked, humiliated and insulted, she said that was really like putting the cart before the horse in so many words. With that, he went inside never to be seen again. At that point, another "manager" [a third employee] came out to further reinforce their shady "company policy", apologizing if she felt offended. It was right then when I decided to interject and cut this scam short, telling him that he just made our decision to buy the other car so much easier and thanked him for doing so. While finally leaving the lot with whatever dignity that we had left, I told my wife that I could really use a shower!
