I knew I came to the right place as soon I stepped into Clint's shop. One of the tell tale signs that I always look for in any auto shop is how clean and meticulous it looks. If they pay that much care & attention to the detail of their shop, it's a clear reflection of how much attention & care they will pay to your vehicle. Upon arrival and inspection of my vehicle, Clint he gave me an true and honest opinion on whether he could save the clear coat on my truck and was very up front and transparent that he would do his best but was not sure if I'd be happy with it. (My vehicle had some pretty bad scratches on it caused by someone using a scouring pad to remove some stubborn dirt). He offered to attempt fix a 6x6 square inch of test spot for no charge to see if the results that he could achieve would be to my liking. I was really excited to get the interior and exterior of my car detailed and my engine dressed. I received detailing this morning in my apartment complex parking lot. He arrived around 10 and left around 12, which is a little quick for spending $370 and should have been a red flag when everyone else had quoted me at least 4 hours. It seems there are some things that were looked over or not done at all. When he was leaving, he asked if it looks good, but of course, it is hard to take a long look at that time. My floormats have not been cleaned whatsoever. For the amount I paid, I would at least expect a rinse. I don't know if he didn't do them because they are not carpet, but I paid far too much money for that. I would not recommend this service. STAY AWAY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY ON HIM. He will not fully clean your car properly and he might return it damaged as he did to me. The Auto Detail Doctor came to detail the interior of my vehicle. He returned it at 9PM AT NIGHT, so that there was not enough light to see what was done to the car. Upon inspecting the car following the detail (in the light) several parts were extremely dirty, some parts not even clean at all (i have pictures). Not only were several parts dirty and not cleaned at all, the back of the driver's side seat was popped off and damaged. No one had been in the car other than him. When I called him to tell him that, I sent him a picture of the damage. He arrogant attitude and condescending tone were disgusting. And what he had previously said was a "great car" and a "nice car" suddenly turned into "you're car is in such rough condition." When inspecting the car with him prior to him taking it, we opened the front doors and the back doors and it was very evident that the seat was not popped off at that time (as one of us would definitely have noticed) I had not driven the car nor had I any passengers in the car after he had 'detailed' it and been inside it. The fact of the matter is, the back of the driver's side door was fine when I handed over the keys to him and when he returned it, it was not. The fact that he is trying to deny his wrong-doing and inflate his greatness to me again is not how someone should conduct a business, especially one that is so customer-driven. This guy will spend more time telling you how great he is than he does working on your car. Don't waste your money. I have used several high end services, including Liquid Luster and have generally been happy with the results. Honestly, all of these companies are in business because they are good at what they do. Bought a used Civic for my daughter. Although mechanically sound it smelled like a wet dog in the car. Searched a lot of places and finally decided to use Auto Detail Doctor. My dad used to wash our cars every day, and he was like the military with his inspections of his kids' work. Clint must have been trained by my dad, because I couldn't find anything he missed. The carpets were clean and like new. Even the mats that we thought were destroyed came out great. I've always used yelp to read reviews but never actually submitted a review myself until today. That is because Clint did such a fantastic job detailing my car. While my car wasn't too horribly dirty, it was probably a year and multiple road trips since I last really cleaned my car. Even though I have leather seats, put a cover on my back seat and have Weathertec floor mats so that the interior carpet isn't really exposed, I have a white dog who sheds fur in my car's dark interior. I am realistic and know it's hard to clean every piece of dog fur but miraculously Clint got it all! Additionally, every nook and cranny was cleaned and the car looked showroom shiny when he was done. Yes, it's pricey to get the interior and exterior detailed but you get what you pay for. I am so glad that I was able to support a local small business. The service and professionalism that I was shown was exceptional. I could immediately tell that Clint was a man of integrity and a hard working man which is the type of person I surround myself with. I called him about headlight restoration services and he was able to accommodate immediately due to a late cancellation. He arrived and assessed the project and due to the particular damage he informed me he would not be able to restore them back to new if that was what my expectation was. We had Auto Detail Doctor come to our house on 10/14/19 to perform what we believed to be a full detail on a 2017 Jeep Renegade. From all the great reviews we read Auto Detail Doctor seemed the best choice. On a positive note, our detailer, Clint, arrived on time and was very personable. And the wash, wax and tire shine jobs he performed were nice. Now the downside. Auto Detail Doctor's prices were the highest of any companies we researched. But because of the great reviews on Angie's List, Google and Yelp we were willing to pay for what we believed would be the best detail around. To us, that was definitely not the case. To start with, one of the things we had concerns about is their constant use of the words "EXTRA CHARGE". Extra charge for this service and extra charge for that. For $335.00 we were shocked to find so much wasn't included. For example, we pointed out 2 "minor" areas we were sure to be addressed and the words extra charge immediately came out. One of those minor areas was a tiny spot of red paint on the passenger side door handle. When asked to try and remove it we were told that would be an extra charge. We declined and after Clint had left I took some liquid wax and removed the spot in under 30 seconds. Next was how little time it took. Only 2-1/2 hours for a full detail on an SUV? In fairness, Clint did ask us to look over the Jeep after he finished, and a from a quick glance it seemed okay. But later in the day when we looked more closely, we discovered many areas that should have been taken care of had been missed and we wound up cleaning them ourselves. For a less expensive wash and wax job this might have been acceptable, but for a full detail at that price it most certainly was not. I would not recommend Auto Detail Doctor. read more

While the service they offer is mobile, Clint and his helper Austin work out of his home-based shop during the winter months. I left a message and the owner called back within minutes and - much to my surprise - said he could detail the car on the same day. So on a rainy January day I drove out to Alexandria to have my car detailed. Clint could not have been nicer or more accommodating. He offered to drop me off at a nearby restaurant with free wifi so I could work for the roughly three hours while they detailed the car. (Not incidentally, the place he took me is a family-owned restaurant called Rusty's Wharf where I had the BEST fish sandwich of my life served by a lovely group of people!) I didn't expect the car to be like new since it's 10 years old, but I was really surprised at just how close they got it. While I don't tend to have a lot of people or pets in my car, it hasn't been detailed in a long time and needed a good scrubbing. The carpets & seats were steam cleaned, the windows sparkled, the paint job has a new life, and Clint even removed a sticker from the windscreen that I'd been wanting to get rid of. I contacted Clint on Saturday and made an appointment for Monday to have my 2014 Ford Fusion detailed. I was surprised he would be willing to schedule an appointment on Martin Luther King day, but he did. Because it's winter, he doesn't operate his mobile van, so I had to drive out to his beautiful home just east of Pickerington. He did have to take a $50 deposit to reserve my appointment, but I didn't mind. Clint was extremely nice and offered to give me a ride into town so I didn't have to spend money on a taxi or Uber. An hour and a half later, he called to let me know my car was finished and asked if I wanted to wait an extra hour for the seats to dry or if I wanted to finish it up at home. I opted to wait the extra hour. Clint kept me updated throughout the process and was great to work with. I drove home a very clean and shiny car in three hours. It's amazing how much dirt and grime he took out of my seats... I was shocked when he showed me the dirty water that came out of the cleaning machine!
