So I've been wanting to get my car detailed since XMas - and even before that but I was given $$ to do so at the holidays. I got a deal for this service provider - not knowing anything about them or their quality - figuring anything would better than what it looked like and given the price. It took me a while to schedule the cleaning. And when I did - it was months away. The guy was BOOKED. That was OK - I was in no hurry. I waited about a year to move on it - what was a couple more months. We made an appointment and I didn't hear anything until about a week before. Then I was asked to confirm - then I got a call the day before to confirm the details. Quentin touched base with me a couple hours before the appointment to see if he stop in early. WHAT?! I'm used to getting bumped back, lateness and no shows. Unfortunately, I couldn't accommodate - but he was right on time. My car really wasn't that bad - EXCEPT the front driver and passenger area. The back seat and rear hatch got little use so they were rather pristine. I didn't even think of interior windows - but they were filthy. Not that I smoke or anything - but after 5 years, they get dirty. Quentin brought all his own supplies - I just provided the driveway and electrical outlet. He said it would be 2+ hours and sure enough, 2.5 later my car was done! I was AMAZED at how totally clean he got the car. The upholstered seats - one of which was dirty - was immaculately clean. The cup holders and coin/gadget tray were spotless. Quite a feat given the way I had trashed them. The windows were spotless and streakless. The car mats shampooed and clean. I cannot believe what a great job he did. He must truly have a passion for doing this stuff as no detail was overlooked. He was also prompt, professional, and true to his word. I highly recommend this service. I also bought a deal for exterior cleaning which I'll be scheduling soon. I'll have more to report after that is done. But for now, I could not be happier. read more

RUN NOW WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!! This company provided us with one of the worst car washes I have ever seen. The car looked worse than before they started. I found this company on Yelp and disregarded the only bad review since it was more about scheduling than anything else. Boy, I wish I hadn't ignored it. This mobile company sent a poorly trained employee to detail and wax the interior and exterior of my 73 year old mothers already pristine Lexus. We just needed a nice wax to keep the bugs off. Instead, a young woman with a spray bottle and a cloth went around the car and did a less than good job. She used the same product on the body, tires and the windows. There were streaks left afterwards and pollen immediately stuck to the side of the car. They didn't bother with drying all of the car and it was left with spots and streaks. When I contacted the owner, he came up with many excuses before finally admitting the employee wasn't properly trained and said the product wasn't good to use on hot days. Although they offered to come out, waste more of our time, and give it another try, they refused to offer any discount or refund for a job that was awful. I gave the owner notice before writing this review, hoping his customer service would be better than his detailing service. After two attempts he finally called and in so many words said expected us to accept a lower quality service since he was helping the environment and planned to hire seniors and other social causes. He also questioned if I knew what a "detail" which is something I should have been asking him. I just wanted a good wax job for my mom's car or some of our money back. Even a sincere apology would have been nice. Please run now, Don't waste your money on this company. We will never see the $120 dollars again. A drive thru would have been better. read more

Had Quentin out to complete my interior detailing purchased by my mother-in-law on Groupon. Quentin was polite and respectful, ran a few minutes late but had sent me a text letting me know he was going to be 5 minutes late, and was efficient and detailed. Car looks and smells great. Windows are clean and streak free and Quentin left with a promise that if I noticed anything he missed in the next couple of days, he would return. Other than having to schedule out several weeks (Groupon tends to do that to businesses...make the ultra busy immediately after the promotion runs), it was a flawless experience. Unprofessional and Untrustworthy I scheduled not one but two appointments both of which I was stood up for. I paid through his website and have yet to be reimbursed as promised on May 19. If you do decide to use him I suggest you pay via PayPal or Groupon so that you safeguard your purchase. He is ignoring all communications which is very unprofessional. The 1 star review is too generous for these thieves but it's the only way I'm able to post a review. I purchased the Groupon deal in May 2020 and had a hard time finding a phone # or website to call and schedule. I'm an avid Groupon user and immediately realized after clicking the only link found in the Groupon that I had redeemed the purchase. I reached out to Groupon (of course COVID caused their customer service reply to take over a week to get back to me) to let them know there was a problem and also contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I was initially told by my credit card provider they could not reach the vendor and issued me a full credit. 2 weeks later I received another message from my credit card company telling me they had found in the vendor's favor after making contact with them and reversed my credit. I have given up trying to reach Old Fashion Detailing at this point. I DID NOT RECEIVE THE SERVICE I PAID FOR, I HAVE NEVER SPOKEN WITH ANYONE FROM OLD FASHION DETAILING AND I WILL NEVER USE GROUPON AGAIN. Learn from the mistakes and misfortunes of others - stay away from these guys - they are thieves. read more
