Called Summit City Auto Glass and my quote came in at $289! No BS disposal fee! No other surprises other than I had to pay $292 because there was a $3 fee for using a credit card. I was weary of going with safe lite just because I wanted OEM glass. I looked around and found this reputable glass shop. Carrie the receptionist is amazing. She always follows up and was able to get the exact glass I wanted. They worked with the insurance and I did not have to pay a single dollar. Matt, who was the technician who repaired my glass is probably the nicest glass technician I have met. He came out and reviewed the damages. Also did a throw evaluation of the condition of the car. This shows that they pay attention to detail. I recently took my car out after two days of it sitting in the garage to make sure that the glue had set even though it's likely not necessary. The glass itself looks brand new and the workmanship without any damage. I don't think you can ask for more. These guys have my business in the future if I ever have a window chip or need a window replacement.

We were then told that someone would call us to reschedule. No one called. When we called the office to reschedule they made an appointment for us and sent us a quote that was twice as much as the original. After having a scheduling conflict, I made a new appointment for a sooner date. The quote I got was still almost twice as much and the technician never called to tell me they would be late. My appointment was between 12-5 and they arrived at 6. I waited around an extra hour after my workday was over. I feel a discount should have been given for my troubles. The technician was extremely nice but every customer service representative I have dealt with has been nothing but rude. One even tripled my quote and told me there wasn't enough information for her to send out a technician even though a technician had already been out 3 day prior. My family has used safelite before and been very happy, however we are very disappointed with our service this time as well as the major differences in quotes for the replacement.

The gang at Deluxe took it right in, had the appropriate replacements and fixed it in just a few hours! The price was reasonable and the service was exceptional! And of course there was tons of itty-bitty pieces of glass in the car and they cleaned it up beautifully! I needed to replace a triple pane window in my mother's room that had a bad seal on it, I also needed a new glass shelf as I had shattered it during the move. I also was thinking about redoing my shower doors in both the master and one of the smaller bathrooms in my new home. This place does that as well as work on auto glass... it's a one stop shop. The people were friendly enough, but didn't seem to keen on giving me the help I needed. They asked me to go do the measurements and come back with it. Now this place is over an hour away from my house and I am used to having someone do all the work for me including the measurements. So I went with someone else.
