She always follows up and was able to get the exact glass I wanted. They worked with the insurance and I did not have to pay a single dollar. Matt, who was the technician who repaired my glass is probably the nicest glass technician I have met. He came out and reviewed the damages. Also did a throw evaluation of the condition of the car. This shows that they pay attention to detail. I recently took my car out after two days of it sitting in the garage to make sure that the glue had set even though it's likely not necessary. The glass itself looks brand new and the workmanship without any damage. I don't think you can ask for more. These guys have my business in the future if I ever have a window chip or need a window replacement.

We were then told that someone would call us to reschedule. No one called. When we called the office to reschedule they made an appointment for us and sent us a quote that was twice as much as the original. After having a scheduling conflict, I made a new appointment for a sooner date. The quote I got was still almost twice as much and the technician never called to tell me they would be late. My appointment was between 12-5 and they arrived at 6. I waited around an extra hour after my workday was over. I feel a discount should have been given for my troubles. The technician was extremely nice but every customer service representative I have dealt with has been nothing but rude. One even tripled my quote and told me there wasn't enough information for her to send out a technician even though a technician had already been out 3 day prior. My family has used safelite before and been very happy, however we are very disappointed with our service this time as well as the major differences in quotes for the replacement.

Mike had the glass in stock and came out to replace on site. The glass lifts and rear wiper obviously weren't included with the replacement glass, which he didn't tell us and were at home at the time of the installation, and Mike offered to come out and install the, We just needed to call him. After several attempts were made to contact Mike to install lifts and wiper over the next several weeks with no success we installed lifts and wiper ourselves. Wiper did not work. Left messages for Mike that the wiper did not work and requested his assistance in getting it to work. Mike, came on site to resolve issue and explained something was wrong with the motor and it needed something sprayed into it that needed to set for a bit and that should take care of the problem, also apparently the wiper (which was purchased brand new was stripped and needed to be re-threaded, which he could do at his shop), he'd be back before the weekend to complete the job. As of today my rear windshield is missing the rear wiper, he has only returned half of the brand new wiper I gave him. He was paid in full for a job that was never completed and I still have yet to receive the receipt that I've requested on numerous occasions. Guess I should have went with Safelite, he was only $50 cheaper. What they say is true, you get what you pay for!

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Gerber Collision. I brought my vehicle in for panel…read morerepair, and while they claimed it was fixed, it clearly was not. I did my due diligence and pointed out that the repaired panel was noticeably larger than the matching fender on the opposite side. They took it back, supposedly to correct the issue--but within less than five minutes, they returned it and claimed it was "fixed." Nothing had changed. It was a total scam. I requested that a Gerber representative take a closer look. She told me they had "changed the bracket" and that "this is how it is"--essentially telling me to take it or leave it. That level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. When I asked for proof of the so-called defective parts or even just photos, they had nothing to show. That speaks volumes. I've disputed the payment through my credit card and will be getting fully reimbursed due to Gerber's dishonesty and failure to provide the service I paid for. Shame on them for treating customers this way and thinking they can get away with such behavior. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with your vehicle.

Luckily, my fiancé caught the sensor issue and tested the PSI of the tire, which came back to being OVER inflated. If you know slightly about tires, this can POTENTIALLY lead to premature wear and tear of the tire life. So, if you get a new tire installed by Gerber, whomever completes the installation, will over fill the capacity of air within your tire. Overall, great service, expect a constant change of estimate repair completion instead of a complete diagnostic estimate of completion :)

Two weeks later, we received a mailed receipt from our insurance company showing that they paid $3,180. I emailed the shop a month ago to find out why they tacked on an additional $870 to the final bill. No response. This is an example illustrating why all of our car insurance premiums are soaring. Avoid Gerber. There are more reputable shops in town that will do the work for less money and not inflate the bill for insurance.
