    driver side 8/11/25

    Bottom line: 1. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service I received at your establishment in Durham, NC (1600 S Miami Blvd Durham, NC 27703) and to seek a resolution. 2. In addition to poor technical service, the AutoGlassNow employees displayed unhelpful and unprofessional customer service. I am reporting this experience to the Better Business Bureau, Google, Yelp, Facebook, and AutoGlassNow corporate. 8/10/25 I contacted your company and scheduled a windshield replacement for my 2018 Subaru Outback, providing the VIN number as requested. I received a follow-up call to schedule service. 8/11/25 The initial appointment did not go well. For reference, I was charged $408.80. After the replacement appointment in the morning, it rained in the afternoon. There was a significant amount of water leaking into the car, resulting in a puddle on the driver side floor mat. See photos (video documentation can be provided upon request). This vehicle has zero history of water leakage. It is also worth noting that 1. I was told on 8/10 that I could have mobile service provided and 2. That the replacement windshield was already in stock. On 8/11, I received a phone call stating that mobile service was not available (needed to bring the car into the shop) and that the tech needed to go get the replacement part... 8/12/25 I revisited AutoGlassNow and explained the issue with water leaking. The technician and the employees at the front desk came to inspect the car, testing it by spraying it within a hand-pumped water hose. Despite my lack of knowledge on the topic, he made it seem that the repair was okay. 8/13/25 It rained again, and once again water was pouring into the car -- it followed a similar pattern to 8/11 on the driver side, but also a small amount showed on the passenger side floor mat as well this time. See photos. 8/18/25 In an effort to pinpoint the cause of the leaking, I consulted Dept. of Interiors (https://www.deptofinteriorsnc.com/), a local Auto Water Damage specialist. This specialist suggested a test to understand if the water leakage was, in fact, related to the windshield. This involved observing during a rainstorm or using another source of water (like a garden hose, carwash, etc.) to create adequate volume and pressure to mimic a rainstorm. During the test, the key was to slide a piece of paper between the dashboard and the interior of the windshield -- if the piece of paper was wet, the windshield was the cause of the issue. The "before" of this test yielded a completely dry piece of paper, and the "after" yielded multiple wet pieces of paper. See photos. Immediately after conducting this test, I took the car back to AutoGlassNow to share what I had learned. The employees at AutoGlassNow were not interested in engaging on the issue -- they referenced the test on 8/12 as evidence that nothing was wrong, despite my photos and testimony otherwise. They were unwilling to re-inspect the car. They did not acknowledge the wet pieces of paper I was showing them. They suggested that it was some other issue, such as the cowl panels or door molding. My contact at Dept. of Interiors offered to speak with the AutoGlassNow employees on the phone, which they refused. They kept asking for video evidence from a different third-party body shop or dealership, and would not accept my physical or photo evidence. In the end, the employees became hostile and aggressive toward me -- an extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable situation. 8/20/25 I kindly request a refund for the inconvenience and stress caused by this ordeal. I trust you will address this matter promptly and uphold the standards of professionalism and quality service that your company aims to provide. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.

    TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! did a poor job on my vehicle glass repair. Store manager MJ was very rude and dismissive when addressing the matter to her. Less than 4 weeks of service done window was busted due to the rain. Manager kept Insisting they are not responsible and assumed something hit my vehicle instead. DO NOT COME HERE. Read the reviews.

    had an 8 am appointment. at 10:30 they finally got to my aut then told me they had ordered the wrong glass. i do not recommend

The guys at Davenport spent their own time working with the camera company's phone support. At each step they came out to me and explained the updated situation. When there was a "we could install it *this* way or *that* way" they came put, explained the pros of each choice, then let me decide. In all it took three trips to get the whole camera system installed - NOT because of anything Davenport did wrong. And to their credit they were great and friendly each time. I would totally recommend them.
