My husband…read morewas meticulous about scouring the interwebz for a used vehicle that matched his criteria, and he found a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek through Sands Auto South. Though it was a bit of a drive for us, we wanted to check it out. We called ahead to make sure it was still available/on the lot (sometimes places are bad about updating their websites regularly to reflect inventory, but this place was accurate). When we arrived, we came into the office first. We were greeted in a friendly, relaxed manner. The guy got our IDs, gave us the keys and let us take it for a roll. We liked it but needed a couple days to consider. The guy was chill with that answer and didn't attempt to pressure us in any way to hurry our decision or check out any other vehicles on the lot, which I really appreciated. I've been to auto dealers before who won't leave you alone or won't take no for an answer and it's a huge turnoff, so this casual attitude was honestly a green flag for us. When we initially were inspecting it on the lot (we were pretty thorough, even got under the hood haha), he didn't even come out of the office to watch us or upsell us. Again, I really appreciated being left alone to consider for myself without any salesmanship BS or distracting chit chat. Hubbie did end up going back a few days later (once he'd got funds in the right place) to purchase it, and it was also a relaxed experience. He was able to trade in the Prius to get a slight discount on the going rate for the Crosstrek. One word of warning, be sure to come with cash in hand if you aren't financing, because there is like a 3% fee if you use a credit or debit card to purchase! Oh, also the toilet was nice and clean in the office.

Dylan was very helpful throughout the buying process and helped us get an awesome interest rate that other dealerships said they wouldn't even be able to get close to before we found NexGen. We pointed out a few small things we noticed when we found our dream truck, and one of the employees said they'd take care of us after we bought it since we wanted to take the truck home the same day. The owner, Mark, stood behind the truck and took care of those few things for us after we bought it even though he wasn't present when the staff member said they'd fix those few things. Most used car dealerships would have said "no used vehicles are sold as-is". We will be recommending NexGen to everyone we know and we are definitely life-long customers!
