One was about a year ago after someone ran into it with a forklift at work and I just returned from picking it up after the deer hit. I could go on and on about craftsmanship but I don't have a clue what it takes. All I can tell you (and all I really care about) is that after they are done everything looks as new. Unless you know the car before you wouldn't be able to tell where any work was done. Sheet metal, paint, etc. looks flawless. The service is as good as the work and very friendly as well. Free loaner on both occasions, work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time, they inform you of any possible savings to be had and they pass them on to you. My non damaged headlight was faded and burned out prior to hitting the deer. They polished it to match the new one and did what they could to get it working (ended up being a module). I had painted the grill to match the vehicle, again they replicated that as well after calling to see what I used. The car was cleaned and vacuumed as well even though all work was exterior.... everything at no charge. It's my body shop of choice and will recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Need Auto body work in Foreston? Stay away from ABT on County Rd. #18 in Foreston. In my opinion…read moreABT stands for Awfully Bad Technicians or Angry Boneheaded Technicians. I've had the displeasure of having my car worked on there and have never been treated as bad by any business. The workmanship is crappy at best and if you complain about obvious defects the owner will blame the car, blame you and or scream at you that you are trying to defraud an insurance company. I know it was my mistake to use them a 2nd time... Awfully Bad Technicians First repair because I hit a deer this past winter. It took out the passenger headlamp, bumper cover, etc. but didn't bend any of the frame. The front quarter fender was pushed back into the front passenger door chipping the paint and creating a bow in the front passenger door. When I came to pick the car up pointed out a big bow in the front passenger door. Scott loudly said "No there's not". I brought him outside and showed it to him. He tried to make light of it and said it would work its way out when the weather warmed up. No I said - Fix it. - After this fix the owner told me he screwed up and damaged a trim piece near the front passenger window and I had to wait until the un-damaged part came in and then come back to get it replaced. - Front passenger decorative door trim panel fell off of the same door they worked on and re-painted to fix the bow. Not their fault they said. I had to buy the new part. - Returned a few weeks to complain about the front end workmanship on the headlamp gasket assembly, the gap in the hood on the passenger side from back to front was way off. He leaned heavily into the passenger fender to try to shove it 3 or 4 times. It didn't work. He said to bring it back to fix it. The poor fit is/was obvious. The gap between the rear of the hood and the front over the headlamp went from ~ 1/8" to over ¼". Also the bumper cover under the headlamp that was replaced by his workers has a ¼" gap under it yet the other side does not. According to him it was the car's fault. He told me to bring it in and he would fix it. 2nd Repair because I backed into a tree. (Big mistake bringing it back to Angry Boneheaded Technicians ;-( - Dropped off car, reminded Greg of hood and front headlamp, bumper cover etc. - When picking up car after the second repair I mentioned the same condition of passenger front hood, etc. to Scott the owner. Scott immediately got upset blamed and the car MFG Kia. I said I was not happy about it. He looked closer and found another flaw in the front grill that he or HIS worker(s) hadn't put the front grill back together properly as there were clips out hanging in space and not attached. He stormed into the shop and brought out a handful of tools. He was furious and kept on blaming the MFG. He was able to get the grill assembled properly but told me to look at other cars to see how bad they were. I told I didn't care to do that because my car was in better condition before his workers screwed it up. Sarcastically he said he could bend the hood out of shape to fit properly and just stuff some cardboard under the bumper cover to make me happy. Again I said I was not happy with that. We went inside and he told me he would not warranty any of his work. Yes that's what he said. He said he was doing me a favor! I mentioned that I shouldn't have to put up with shoddy workmanship and he exploded and accused me of defrauding the insurance company because he somehow thought I was going to get more money than the repair cost. I told him I filed a claim and that the check from the INs Company was on his premises! He again accused me of defrauding the Ins co. He called his worker Greg. When he got off the phone he said Greg knew nothing about any claim, payment or anything else. He demanded I pay him or else I wouldn't be able to take my car. I told him I was not going to take the car because it looked like crap and walked out the door. A few minutes later he came out the door begging me to come back inside apologizing again and again. He had the claim and check from the insurance company the whole time but his head was too far up his arse to find it! Here is a couple of new slogans for his body shop - Customer Service? Go To Hell! No matter what your car looked like before - It will be worse when we are done! Our workmanship is so bad - we don't guaranty any of it! We do crappy work and blame the car for you! If you don't like our work than you must be defrauding the Insurance Company! We do not guarantee our work and we put it in writing! Don't dare to let us know when we screw up - We will crucify you for it! Don't plan on using your car for a couple weeks after we say we are done - there's always something we forgot to do! (And it is your fault!)
