    a minute ago NEW At…read morefirst the response from this office was great. Unfortunately, as this is going on our second year with them they have been awful! We have two auto and one home policy with this office. They have given miss information that has been corrected by boss another office as well as the one 800 number. We wanted to buy a new car and they said it would take seven days to add this car on the policy. We were able to do it in five minutes with the one 800 number. Three months ago we asked to be switched to a new agency that is very responsive with returned calls/emails. They have yet to transfer us over! They are basically holding us hostage as members to their agency. If you like not having returned calls, having miss information, not getting bills on time/updates etc. Definitely go with Jadens office. We have been very very happy with State Farm and their customer service however Jaden's office is absolutely the worst office we've ever had to deal with. Unfortunately, because we had good service at first, we referred friends and family. They have all experience at the same thing and will definitely make sure that they write reviews to accurately reflect this office. My dad was waiting on a confirmation to close on a house that they had for almost 3 weeks and they held up the closing of this house. My dad has also asked to switch from this office to a different office and they are not releasing him as a customer either. When I spoke to the office manager she apologized but said that they're short staffed. We are switching to Benton Harbor office because every time I call they call me back with in a timely manner not days/weeks afterwards.

Ive contacted them weeks before my bill was due to inform them that it was incorrect and hadnt applied my drive safe and save discount. They informed me that they already knew about the mishap and were working on getting it fixed right away, said i would receive my new bill in the next few days as well as the discount paper work i needed to sign and send back. I got the paper work, sent it in but my bill never changed. Now im being offered no help, got hung up on, and being told there is nothing they can do about it except for me to "Keep a better eye on the mail next time" - words from Jaden himself - after reassuring me that they would apply my discount before my billing due date. 1/10 would not recommend.

My…read moredaughter suggested that I go to L.A. insurance, although my past experience had been online and I was use to that. So, decided to take my daughter's advice. Little did I know the wonderful experience I would get. Not to say that all the other insurance agencies were not the best but I found in L. A. insurance reassuring a since of pleasantness, confidence in what i was purchasing and a price that would fit my budget. not only that but a very pleasant, polite and the perfect gentleman. He was patient and very kind. I called him several times regarding a policy for my vehicle and not one time was he impatient with me or rude. This gentlemen I'm talking about is Mr. Marvin wonderful representative for L.A insurance, thank you for this experience.

    Thieving agents. I…read moreadvise absolutely everyone who comes in to pay CASH to check your receipts and that what you're paying for is actually what is on the receipts!! I went in on 6/13/2023 at 6- 6:15pm to insure my vehicle for the first time. The only gentleman in the office was Marvin Schindler and he was dealing with a client when I walked in. I waited patiently for my turn and once those clients left, it was Marvin, my sister and I left in the office with him. He seemed professionally and friendly throughout the process up until we got to time of down payment! He asked how I was paying and when I said CASH, he must've gotten the idea that he'd be able to pull one on me. He quoted me $357.99. I asked him to repeat that number. He acted as if he didn't hear me. I asked him to repeat it once again and he once again said $357.99. It was off because all of the paper work I was signing was for $257.99!!! I suspiciously paid him $400 and received my change for the payment of $357.99. Once he gave me all my paperwork, everything seemed to say $257.99. I walked out only to walk back in about 10 min later and ask him for a receipt because something WAS NOT RIGHT. He asked what it was I wanted and I told him I needed a receipt for my down payment because I don't believe I received one. He said "I'll make you one right now." And that was a RED FLAG. I didn't need him to generate a manual receipt off the computer for me and that's exactly what he did. I told Marvin I needed a receipt with a breakdown as to where all my $357.99 went to and how it's split into the policy. He claimed the computer wasn't working and wasn't letting him print my receipt. He signed the manual receipt he created and tried to get me to sign it too. That's when I revealed to him that I also worked in the insurance and financial business before moving to Michigan and I needed what I was asking for. Suddenly, MARVIN PULLS OUT A $100 out of his desk and slides it over with the words, "WE'RE SQUARED, RIGHT? WE'RE SQUARED?" Excuse me!? Are we squared!? First of all, what professional uses that language with clients?? Secondly, when I asked if there was a receipt for this "refund" he was giving me and he said THE ONES I ALREADY HAVE OF $257.99 WERE MY RECEIPTS! Marvin Schindler tried to rob me and almost got away with it. I can only imagine how many others he's done it too and again, if you're paying cash, make sure the numbers match.
