Following the replacement, I noticed that my paint was badly chipped on the roof right beside the windshield glass from where an adhesive or tool was used to change the glass. Upon reaching out to Safelite, an appointment was scheduled for a specialist to come out to inspect the damage, photograph the car, and document the claim. On the day of this appointment, I was called stating my appointment was canceled due to staffing issues. I had to call back to set up a new appointment the following week. On the new date, someone showed, took pictures for about 5 minutes, and left after waiting all day during their five hour window they provided. I was told the manager would take a look at the pictures and reach back out once they decided the best option. A week went by and nobody ever reached back out. When we called, we were not able to speak to manager. Since then, we have still heard nothing. It seems this was all just a ploy to avoid their damages and a hope for us to forget. I guess their plan worked, because we ended up having to pay $300 to repair the damaged roof without any financial support, manager follow-up, or apology from this company. I am greatly disappointed in Safelite and will not use nor recommend their services to anyone. They lack communication and professionalism.

I have a Jeep and after 9 years, the windshield developed a crack. I went to LG and they quickly replaced it. A week later, and a rock on the interstate left a star shaped crack. I was thinking it was my bad luck, but then it happened two more times. A month after getting the windshield, a huge crack started down the center. I called LG and was told that Jeep's are just hard on windshields, which I imagine is true, but then she told me that this happens all the time and some people have said that another, tougher, brand of glass works better. I ran a ballpoint pen down the crack, as instructed, and noticed no indication that the crack was caused by a strike. This would mean it would be covered under warranty. LG sent out an installer who said it was caused by a strike, even though there was no proof by their own standard. They offered to replace it again for a slightly lower cost. I told them I couldn't afford to have a new windshield installed EVERY month for $300. This is the nicest shop I'll never use again. In short, my windshield last for NINE YEARS and then was replaced by Lawrence Glass and lasted ONE MONTH. Very disappointing.
