I have a Jeep and after 9 years, the windshield developed a crack. I went to LG and they quickly replaced it. A week later, and a rock on the interstate left a star shaped crack. I was thinking it was my bad luck, but then it happened two more times. A month after getting the windshield, a huge crack started down the center. I called LG and was told that Jeep's are just hard on windshields, which I imagine is true, but then she told me that this happens all the time and some people have said that another, tougher, brand of glass works better. I ran a ballpoint pen down the crack, as instructed, and noticed no indication that the crack was caused by a strike. This would mean it would be covered under warranty. LG sent out an installer who said it was caused by a strike, even though there was no proof by their own standard. They offered to replace it again for a slightly lower cost. I told them I couldn't afford to have a new windshield installed EVERY month for $300. This is the nicest shop I'll never use again. In short, my windshield last for NINE YEARS and then was replaced by Lawrence Glass and lasted ONE MONTH. Very disappointing.

Still, he took the time to clean it up and make sure it was completely filled and wouldn't cause any future issues. Then he didn't charge us for coming out because the repair was already done, even though he still did some work. Our windshields have been damaged several times and this is the third time we've used Glass Monkey. We couldn't recommend them more.

They attempted to install PPF on our Dodge Viper and the result was beyond unacceptable. The workmanship was some of the worst I've ever seen. They are friendly and cheaper than other places but that's where the praise ends. Randy quoted me one price on the phone then increased it by $100 as we were confirming. That's fine. I get pricing might be hard for a new business. Whatever. When they got here, the guy he brought with him kept saying this didn't look like the YouTube video he watched for a model that was 7 years newer than mine. Then, he told me how he lost his ASE certification. They came, replaced the starter with some trouble, and left. I got maybe a mile down the road when the car died on me. I had it towed to a mechanic I trust. It cost me an additional $500+ for my mechanic to figure out the issue and fix it (ground wires that needed to be replaced after they were digging around trying to replace the starter from the top.) They left coolant and other bits all over my driveway. It's unfortunate because I really wanted this to be a great experience but it was terrible. I don't like writing poor reviews but I sincerely don't want anyone else to end up with an additional bill like I had.
