TLDR, I've been stuck in a problem cycle that online DMV, in person DMV, AAA, and the DMV kiosk couldn't help me with related to my registered address. All I needed was to update my registration address and leave with my vehicle tags (everything has been lost in the mail for years). I walked in for my appointment and was greeted very warmly. I explained my issue and he said no problem let's do it! While he was sorting through the paperwork I brought, he was very friendly and we talked about sports and what I do for work. I would have paid whatever to resolve this and the pricing felt extremely fair and worth it to finally have done. I was in and out in 15 minutes after being stuck with my issue for years. Auto Tagz saved my a** when I needed my tags renewed. I had until 5pm to get my tags paid, signed off by highway patrol and get to the tow yard before I got hit with another day of storage fees. I called AutoTagz right at 3pm when I had left work, within the hour, I had met David(I think) at a random gas station and he had all my tags in hand and I was able to get everything in order and get my car released. He understood the urgency and went above and beyond to help me out even outside of business hours and didn't judge me for the predicament I was in. Been driving by this place for years...never knew I would ever need to use their services until this past month. Soooo glad I did. Got those personalized black and yellow CA plates a few years ago but decided against putting them on a leased Prius back in 2017. So I just removed the personalized plates from my old car I sold to Carmax and kept them in a closet for the past 3 years. Fast forward to when the lease is up and I decide to buy a new car...now I'm thinking those black plates would look pretty good on the new ride. No way did I want to attempt to goto the dmv or try to schedule an appointment during covid for this so I called David up and he said he could register my plates to my new car no problem. Made an appt for Saturday and David did some printing and some paperwork, I signed here and there, paid for it with a credit card and signed the iPad and it was complete.
