You of course have to allot time for parking and payment processing which may be just 3-5 minutes more. My only concern was I thought I was getting the smog check for 29.95 (they have a coupon); however, when I went there, I had to pay for $8 state fee and $7 transfer fee (plus $3 had I chosen to pay with card, good thing I had cash). Name on the bill and website is different than their name on the sign and on Yelp. I wonder if that's to dodge bad reviews? Do not recommend at all. Went in for a smog check in January. They told me it was all done digitally and taken care of. Failed to mention that if my payment had not arrived to the DMV on time the smog check would be useless because of the small late fee ($15). Three months went by without me receiving my tags and the smog check became useless (it's only good for 90 days - another thing they didn't tell me). These people do these services all day long. Their customers are not as well-versed in the procedure. They should have a conversation with them. Make sure they understand that if the DMV has assessed any fees (even a penny), the smog check will run out and you'll have to get a new one. Heck, they should help you check it out with you while you're there. It's as simple as logging into a website and entering your license plate and the last three digits of your VIN. Not that the customer would have any way of knowing that. These guys provided me with a false sense of security that it was all taken care of and ultimately ripped me off for an eighty dollar smog check that's worthless and has to be redone. Thanks! UPDATE: The more I read other reviews, the more I remember what happened. I paid my registration fee to the DMV through them. If there was a late fee assessed, they definitely should've known about it and just charged me more. Something shady went on here. They fucked up and blamed it on me. Said it was between "me and the DMV." Like they never entered into it. Right... UPDATE TO RESPOND TO THEIR COMMENT: I never even asked for a free smog check. I called to find out what had happened and before they knew anything, they tried to blame me. How do they know the late fee was applied to my account *before* they were supposed to submit my smog check digitally? If three months passed without a smog check being submitted, wouldn't the DMV assess a late fee? If they have some evidence that this isn't what happened, I will gladly take the review down. Even if the payment had arrived late and a late fee was assessed, the customer should be informed that's a risk and not told that everything is taken care of and all they have to do is expect their tags in the mail. If this company would like to do more repeat business, they should take responsibility for guiding their customers through the process and not telling them it's between them and the DMV. read more

Though they are friendly and fast, I will not take my car here to be smog checked or registered again. When I saw my receipt my registration was way higher than what I was supposed to pay to the DMV. I wasn't told about their additional fees prior to being charged and when I asked if they could undo the process, I was told no.
