If I could give 0 stars I would. This man Steve Dauzart the owner is a criminal! He forged my signature to get my warranty company to pay for repairs I NEVER authorized and then lied to the police and said I gave him verbal authorization to sign my signature. He completed repairs against what he recommended to the warranty company and then refused to take my payment to get my truck back! He is now holding my vehicle hostage and going back on his word because I filed a police report for forgery and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! Rapides Parish Sheriffs office is investigating the forgery. In the meantime I go to pay the amount just to get my truck back and he states "he won't accept my original payment method he agreed to because I changed the circumstances" I only filed a police report for forgery! He has tried to buy my truck on a number of different occasions to which I refused and now I believe this is his way of trying to steal it. If you value your vehicle honesty and integrity DO NOT utilize this company at all! read more

Highway robbery. We felt as if we we're getting bullied into using them with the constant bombardment of fees and an annoying little service advisor who probably has no clue what a wrench is! In my opinion, a shade tree mechanic would be best! read more

Took car into shop with check engine light on engine runs perfect until it gets in a bind,then has miss, auto tech cond me into buy new motor , needless to say $10,000 they still haven't fixed my car and still trying to charge me more ... the worst mechanics I've ever and don't even try n call , they take your number and never call, put new parts on without consent, I'm gonna have to hire a lawyer , they are rip offs and when they break something one your car they make you pay for it , saying it was old and things break, uh yea. When you break them , anyway whole thing is nitemare , will probably have to sue them read more

Extremely poor customer service. My car was towed there, and it took a week of ZERO RESPONSE from them before I decided to call regarding the status of my vehicle. I constantly received excuses as to why my car wasn't ready. A week and a half in I drive up to the place and suddenly my car is ready after a mechanic pops on a tire. I was then sent to the office to get my bill write-up, and while sitting down right in front of the manager, he pops out his ringing cell phone mid-question. He then proceeds to talk for HALF AN HOUR about casual topics. I'm sitting there as patient as I can, and he finally hangs up the phone. He then has to leave for another 15 minutes to discuss my repair bill with the mechanic. Only send your vehicle to this place if you don't need it for a month and can spend an hour of your time paying your repair bill. Longest transaction of my life. read more

Poor service. Took truck for transmission problem and was called almost a month later saying the rear end had to be fixed first before the transmission could even be looked at with a price of $1800 when there wasn't anything wrong with the rear end. Highway robbery. read more

Now this is how you run a business!!! I am from out of town and was visiting my Grandfather, who needed two front tires replaced on his truck. The ride was just two rough for him, so he went to the one place he comes for this kind of thing. As we walked in, my Grandfather told me he has known the owner for nearly 30 years and mentioned he is one of the best individuals he knows. Well, after leaving Auto tech, I can see why. He first came out and talked with my grandfather and greeted him with the utmost respect. He then sent a gentleman out to retrieve two tires for my grandfather. Keep in mind my grandfather wanted two used tires, not new ones. The gentleman came in with two nice tires, but they had different tread on them. My grandfather expressed concern about it and the owner agreed and sent his employee to find two others. In just a few short minutes the very respectful employee came in with two tires that my grandfather really liked. When asked how much he owes, the owner gave my grandfather a price that was obviously only for a long time friend. I could tell the owner was not making a dime off of my grandfather. After additional small talk, he wished us well with a handshake and sent us to a place he recommended for the mounting of the tires. When we got there, it was obvious that he had called down and notified them that we were coming. When all was said and done, we were handed the keys and told "have a nice day". I asked the young man how much we owed and he said it was already taken care of. It still remains a mystery who paid for the mounting of these tires. Could it be the owner from Auto Tech? Honestly I don't know, but what I do know is that Auto Tech is a prime example of how a business should be managed. We received a warm welcome, honesty, a very fair price, and ultimately an awesome buying experience. In all honesty I have never seen a business in California (where I am located) treat a customer with such deep respect. Friend or not, this is the true meaning of a great American Business that should be modeled after. 5 stars does not do this business justice and hands down Auto Tech deserves more! read more

Worst experience ever first of all the driver of the tow truck AC convinced us to take our car to his shop said it was closer and would have it done in our time frame and would give a great price. Well long story short none of those things were done over 700 for replacing an alternator on our car they never called to let us know that they never received the part to have the car ready on time. We show up to pick up the car and get slapped with this huge BILL they tell us they are going to get the car and bring it around that took over 30minutes so I asked what was taking so long then I was informed that they just received the part and it would take about 30minutes to install but, yet on my bill I had been charged 95.00 for an hour of labour to put in the alternator that had not been installed!!!! Yup you guessed it we waited over an hour and still not done I was so upset at this point we were from out of town and needed to be on the road to be back to work the next day thanks to all the delays I ended up having to miss an extra day of work!!! Spoke with the owner Steve B. Dauzart all he did was make excuses for all the mistakes they made!! While I waited for my car to be done I spoke with four other customers as they walked out of that shop and looked upset so I politely asked each of them if they had a problem with this shop and sure enough all of them were upset about what they were chargeded or how things were handled! Just be warned don't believe it when they say prices are low and things are done on time in my opinion it's all a scam!!! Never again will I have anything to do with this place and I made sure to tell our family and friends that live in town to stay away from this place!!!! read more
