This location is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was getting my federal compliant ID and had heard stories of people having to make multiple trips. I checked online ahead of time and was pretty sure I had what I needed. I was greeted at the door by a friendly gentleman who confirmed I had checked in online properly and my space in line was reserved. I filled out a form and waited just a couple minutes for my number to be called. The person at the counter was friendly and helped me with my ID and two license plate renewals, with some nice conversation while she completed the registrations. All in, less than 15 minutes later, everything was done in a quick, professional way and I was on my way! Hard to believe you can enjoy an experience at the BMV but it's true! Next time you need the BMV, I recommend this location.

They have on paper that my wife is to receive this amount but yet gets that amount. Did I mention that they lie? By no means is this directed towards the people who work in these offices. My wife is of retirement age and on paper it says that she receives full benefits. I'm here to tell you that she doesn't and hasn't been for many years. This is the Mushroom House in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati. The amount of detail is really breathtaking: circular steel steps, deck rails of wood shingles, stained glass windows, tiled ceilings... of course, I had to snap some pics. How often do we come to Cin City. The original owner/builder by the name of Terry Brown has passed away in 2008. It was started to get built by architect Terry Brown in 1992 and completed in 2006. Terry Brown him self resided in it until his passing in 2008. This house looks like a mushroom from a certain angle, and like an owl from another. It is a fairytale house in the real world. There's so much fine detail, there's no wonder it had taken this genius man 14 years to complete this artistic masterpiece of a home. The spiral orange stair case was chained off not allowing access to the public. There was a car parked in the driveway as well as a surveillance camera. They also had a "no trespassing" sign. The land around, although very minimal is very well groomed and well kept. Something tells me there are people who currently reside here. I don't know how I would feel about living in a home that gets so much attention and that is always being photographed. The Mushroom House is a must see in Cincinnati. That person said, "I can see the number you have," told me what it was, and told me that that the website would be fixed within six weeks so I could track them myself. Six weeks later, it wasn't fixed. I went back to the Social Security office AGAIN and waited for hours AGAIN. This time, another person told me that the website would definitely be fixed within two weeks. Well, another two weeks have passed, and guess what? The website still shows I had zero points, which is just plain wrong. Three months later? Still not fixed. Why can't they just make their website work properly? I've already been there nine times and wasted countless hours while they do absolutely nothing to help. To make matters worse, during a phone appointment, a "Ms. Johnson" insulted me. I wrote a complaint to Social Security. I received no acknowledgement and no apology. They did nothing about it, just like they've done nothing to solve my problem. I am not for privatizing Social Security. The billionaires are already stealing from the working class, and we don't need to make it easy for them to steal more. However, there needs to be better oversight. Social Security has bad management. If these so-called "managers" don't want to do their jobs, then they must be replaced.

I cannot say enough about what a great local community this is! From the outlying neighborhoods, to…read morethe cute and historic downtown, there is a place for everyone. They hold wonderful yearly events, weekly farmers markets in the summer, and have recently introduced a DORA (designated outdoor drinking area). There are many local businesses that have pride in their community and strongly support eachother. When downtown suffered a fire, that sadly damaged several businesses, the community truly stepped up. When a recent flood infiltrated several buildings, the neighbors jumped into action! There are gorgeous parks, and the bike trail runs through here. Downtown has free parking in many areas (some with time limits). Police and fire contribute greatly to the strength of this community. It is a safe city. The chamber of commerce has a great presence as well. I managed a business in this city for a while and the people really make it a special place. Could I continue to gush about it? Sure! But the best way is for you to check it out for yourself!

Another day and I got in line again. Was second...woot! But the young lady in front of me was transferring from Ohio also and had been there several times before. She had a driving abstract - whatever that is - instead of a Drivers License and a interlock. I don't know what that is, and it was causing so many problems I hope I never find out. Someone finally came to help after about 20 minutes, and I was done in about 5 minutes. Exiting I saw the line had grown to about 25 people. So lucky me I didn't came later. I would probably have left and some again another day.

From this staff and the judge that doesn't let these things pile up-- good work! I am from San Diego and the stories you hear about wait time with any government office is not an exaggeration so I am shocked on how smooth it is here. I miss my hometown but NOT the lines and trying to make sure you get to the right person. This experience and previous ones at this courthouse have been amazing!
