Where do I start? Kaden is amazing. I had issues w the 12v charger, headlights, and an annoying…read moreairbag code on our 09 Mazda 5. The car is in otherwise very good mechanical condition. It is too small for my son so we want to sell it as a reliable vehicle for the next owner. I am a DIY mechanic to a point, change the oil, transmission service, can replace spark plugs, etc. I reached out on Yelp for help and Abbotsford Mobile, along with one other local shop responded. Lights were a bulb issue, fixed, 12v charger, the plug in port was wonky, replaced it and fixed it. Airbag code issue has not been resolved but I have been given some safe and basic troubleshoot advice from Kaden. If I can't solve the problem I'll be bringing it to Kaden and crew immediately. I am a GC and offer "free advice" always, I believe it is the right thing to do for people capable of and willing to try, to repair or fix things around their home. I will be driving to Abbotsford soon if I can't solve this airbag code issue. Their rates are far below any shop locally, as much as I want to support local shops, to be told $135/hr for a diagnostic without any idea on how long it may take is crazy to me. I deal with unseen dry rot issues all the time and give a best estimate of the area of damage and how long it will take, and I am most always spot on. I have yet to receive the type os attention and concern for my problem prior to bringing my car in as I have received with Abbotsford Mobile Mechanics. I highly recommend Kaden and Abbotsford Mobile Mechanics. Thanks Kaden, George F.

Half way through the installation I became concerned when both Kaden and his brother started looking on YouTube for solutions to why things were going sideways. Then to make things worse, they broke one of the calipers that did not need to be replaced. Now a $500 MB replacement part is required. They also could not release the brake piston on the other rotor so now I have a car that can't be moved. They promissed to make it right and to return the next day with the replacement caliper and learn how to release the other brake piston. Well another lie. Not only did they not return the next day, Kaden also did not return my text messages asking for the status, and actually hung up on me when calling him direct. Run and hide tactic. So now I am left with a set of useless brake pads and rotors that I had purchased for AMM to use with the installation, a broken caliper $$, a tow truck cost to another dealer, a car I can't drive for 3 days because it's the weekend and a full dealer charge to fix my brakes. Again $$$$ To say I am frustrated is putting it mildly. I was happy to pay Kaden and AMM for the promissed service, but to be lied to and then to be left alone to correct their mistakes is the worse. Lesson learned and never again. Be aware.

I found it difficult to spend the time and money to get regular maintenance servicing done on my car at MB in Langley. So, I went about trying to find an independent mechanic that I would trust with my car. Canadian Tire recommended the other European specialist in Abbotsford - but they are not open Saturday. European Auto was ... so I dropped by and met the Owner (Donald) who was open Saturday and made plans to have my maintenance work done at his shop. I was very happy with the service. I work close by - so Donald dropped me off at the office and picked me up when he was done. Put my mind to rest on a couple of things - OK Tire had refused the free service of rotating my tires at 10,000 Km for tire wear - Donald said there was several 1,000 Kms left on the tires and rotated them during the service visit. A visit to Canadian Tire a week later confirmed there is a couple of seasons of tread left on the tires. Sorry OK - no tire purchase from me. Fix Auto had broken a trim clip and the panel part had fallen off (the car is old) - Donald offered to Crazy Glue the clip back together and re-installed the panel during the service visit. Any story of mine where MB had been trying over the past few years, to up-sell motor mount, gasket seals work ... or OK Tire advising me my wheel alignment could not be adjusted perfectly any more ... was answered by Donald in a typical independent mechanic calm sense - replying do only what is necessary. And most of that stuff is not a problem. Preventative maintenance is time or Km mileage based in nature.... And I had my spread sheet of everything ever done to the car handy. Donald changed the oil, replaced the brake fluid, changed the air filter for the cabin (it was found to be filthy from all that desert driving), rotated the tires, repaired the clip and re-set that panel ... advised that brakes were OK, tires are OK. All for about 60% of what MB quoted for the larger (A or B) service. Plus, I did not have to rent a car for the day! I'll be back - definitely. Donald in conversation confirmed to me that he is a competent mechanic and an avid car guy. He once restored a SL 380 one time to like new condition when he lived in Florida.
