    When Home Depot, Canadian Tire, and Rona doesn't make the cut…read more You come here. I had plumbing issues. The nut surrounding a faucet cartridge was too big for any of my wrenches and sockets. Online searches for a larger socket/wrench lead me to sets of sockets and wrenches in the hundreds of $$'s. I didn't need that. All I needed was one size, since I have the ratchet. Princess Auto popped up on my search. Lo and behold, they sell the individual sockets from ~$10 - $15 each! Exactly what I was looking for! A far cry from the 100's of $$'s. Problem solved. I also had to get a driver adapter for the 1/4 in to 1/2 in size for the socket. I ended up getting 5 sockets in total, because I didn't know the size of that nut. I did this over two visits. Returns and exchanges were a breeze. No questions asked. I only needed the one socket an they happily delivered for my needs. It's out of the way for me, but it meant that I didn't have to buy an entire set of tools that would end up sitting around. In search of an odd tool? Recommend you do a search here. They just might have it.

Wow nothing has changed since last time I was here which was like at least 7 years ago. Princess Auto can be compared to Harbour Tools in the USA. Their prices are at the low end but there is a reason for that. You are sacrificing quality too for the price you pay. Overall, it is not bad. There are plenty of parking here. But to get to the store is quite tricky. It is not easy to find the entrance. They do have a giant sign that say Princess Auto. The store is big.

    In May 2022, this was noted during the regular service of my Infiniti: "Defer CVT cooler,…read moreleaking... no stock Canada at this time". There was no suggestion of follow-up or ordering the part. About a month later, the car started leaking fluid in the garage, and the transmission started slipping. I took it to an Infiniti dealer, who promptly ordered the part. The part took about 3 weeks to arrive, during which I was afraid to drive the car. If Morrey Nissan had simply ordered the part in May, the car would have been fixed before the more serious problems started appearing, and I would not have been without a car for three weeks. I brought this to the attention of the manager, Roger, but he seemed unconcerned. I won't be going back.

    Disappointing service both for my car and to me as a customer…read more I brought my 2011 Nissan Versa in March 2022 for a service - which included a diagnosis, oil change and, what I had hoped for, a reliable and honest inspection service. I told the technician about my concerns with the car, especially the brakes at the time, hoping they could give me some advice. They told me that "everything was looking great." I asked for an online PDF copy of the report from the office, they said they would forward it, but it was never sent it to me. By the start of April, I had several problems with my car that I had to take care of, including repairs to my brakes (front right brake calliper was leaking brake fluid) and a steering intermediate shaft repair. All issues, I later found out through my mechanic, were there during the service. As mentioned, I had raised concerns about my brakes but it was dismissed as nothing and "that the car was old". I truly believed that my car was okay and I continued driving in these conditions. If these problems could have been clearly pointed out to me, I could have taken care of them instantly instead of risking my life with dysfunctional brakes and a steering wheel. I first called Nissan Morrey Coquitlam to express my disappointment in May. They took my message and never returned a call. I called a second time, and was met by the Service Manager, Gene, who responded with, yet again, the infamous excuse that "the car is old, things like these come up", and that he "doesn't understand what I want from him and this conversation", ultimately escalating to yell at me on the phone exclaiming that: "This call ends now!", when he decided that our interaction was over. I've never been met with such an aggressive and rude response when dealing with customer service agents. I was appalled at his behaviour, if this is the way that customer issues are handled, this is concerning. I was hoping for Nissan Morrey Coquitlam to take accountability for their actions and to at least apologize for a service I paid for that was not fully given to me. Why do customers pay for a full service if the technicians are going to superficially inspect the car? It took my mechanic 5 minutes to figure out what was wrong. This situation could have ended in a far more tragic way for me. No other customer should go through this, and no other other customer should be verbally attacked by the Service Manager - the one whose job is to literally treat customer relations in a respectful way. I am truly sad that a dealership I had so much trust in, is now a place that I've experienced so much negativity in.
