And I'm not sure how long they've been open but from both Google reviews and Facebook reviews, this place seems to be popular with the locals. THere is a water closet (toilet downstairs in the basement) also known as -1 floor here in The Netherlands. The food is McDonalds. The same as everywhere else. Of course, it's in a fabulous part of town in Amsterdam. Not a touristy area, but tourists have been spotted here in the past. ;). I amongst them!

And yes, their social media team confirmed there is actual truffle in that mayo! I don't think the fries are quite as crispy as their competitor, but I definitely enjoyed them nonetheless. Staff here was really friendly. Even though I came here super late and near closing hours, the guy working the counter was super nice and doused my fries with plenty of truffle mayo. Can't go wrong with Vlaamse Frites whatsoever! Next time I'm probably going to have get both to have a pure side-by-side comparison.
