Although I understand Christmas and new year is a busy period, if I were told from the get go they would need my car for that long I would have been more prepared and it would have met my expectations Although I did have to do a lot of chasing, I would like to acknowledge that the people I spoke to at the service department were lovely, accomodating and apologetic for delays and the costs involved with the repair of my car, and they always explained the scenario to the best of their knowledge. For this reason alone, I have decided to give 2 stars. However, when it comes to Alex, a two star rating is too generous. Once speaking to the new manager of fiat caroline springs, I felt condescended, manipulated and disrespected. He was blackmailing / threatening that a courtesy car and compensation for parts were only on the table if my negative facebook review was removed. Which - by the way - the compensation was supplied and approved prior to this conversation by head office hence it was deceptive of him to suggest he had control over whether or not I would receive it. I thanked him for the offer and suggested I would be more than happy to remove the review once I received my car since the only time the ball started rolling was after the review was posted. From this point on he cracked a hissy fit, speaking over me / not letting me finish my sentences, telling me I am being difficult to deal with, that he would rather speak to my father, telling me he would like to "accept the slap on the face and move on", abruptly hanging up at the end of a conversation and much more. I made clear that I had every intention to remove my previous review and even leaving a positive one, but instead of resolving a problem I was left feeling as though the problem had escalated due to his unprofessional manner when I should have felt relieved because we were finally moving towards a resolution. Eventually after these discussions I did get my car back and fiat head office did cover the cost of one of the three parts.
