We bought a 2017 Acura ILX with 36k miles in her. She is a true gem! I finally got around to check…read morethe filters and just regular maintenance on her. This is what the cabin air filter looked like. I purchased a 2015 Civic Si coupe a few years ago and it was the same way, not as bad but it was never changed. Seems to me like that should be the first thing changed considering it affects the interior smell of the car. Anyhow, just sharing. Don't get me wrong, their customer service department is impeccable! They are very attentive but not overbearing. I would gladly purchase another car from them after my Civic was totaled in a rear end accident. Honestly, They are the best dealership around. We did most of the paperwork online and over the phone so all we had to do is go, sign, and drive away. They just need to pay more attention to the little things.

BUT...after the sale, it's like I don't exist...not for him or for the GM, Elbert Heron. I called both, texted Christian, emailed both regarding the fact that my vehicle only came with one key fob. I bought another and need to have it programmed. I can't even count the # of times I've tried to contact both of them and even on their chat line. No one, not anyone, has ever called me back or reached out about it in any way. I called Holler Hyundai in Winter Park, and they will do it for $99 because I didn't buy my car there. If I had, they'd do it for free. I shouldn't have to go to a totally different dealer to get the fob programmed and have to pay for it. AutoNation Sanford SHOULD do it as a courtesy since they could not provide a 2nd key fob. When I left the dealership after buying the vehicle, I thought...what a pleasant transaction, but now, the after sale issues...actually getting the Carfax which should have been with the paperwork at the time of the sale, and wasn't, I'm not sure I'll even go back there for service. Beautiful facility, nice people before and during the sale...after the sale, not so much.

FALSE ADVERTISING / MISLEADING ADVERTISING COMPLAINT I am…read moresubmitting this complaint regarding what I believe was misleading advertising by AutoNation concerning its offer to purchase my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I was considering selling my Jeep and visited several dealerships to determine what I could reasonably receive for the vehicle. Another dealership offered me $10,000. I then went to AutoNation's website to obtain a separate offer. After entering my vehicle information, AutoNation provided me with an online offer of more than $12,000. Based on that offer, I scheduled an appointment with AutoNation to have the vehicle inspected and potentially complete the sale. After scheduling the appointment, I received an email from AutoNation stating: "We'll match other valid offers to get you the most for your vehicle. We pay top-dollar." The email also referred to the offer as a "certified offer" and stated that it was expiring soon. Based on these representations, I had a reasonable expectation that AutoNation would honor its online offer or, at a minimum, match the $10,000 valid offer I had already received from another dealership. However, when I went to the AutoNation dealership, they offered only $9,650 for my Jeep--less than the $10,000 offer from the competing dealership. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told that the email I received from AutoNation regarding the offer was "AI generated." That explanation is particularly concerning because the email was sent to me as an AutoNation communication and contained specific representations regarding purchasing my vehicle, matching other valid offers, and an expiring "certified offer." Whether the email was generated by artificial intelligence or another automated system does not change the fact that it was sent to me by or on behalf of AutoNation and contained representations that influenced my decision to make an appointment and bring my vehicle to the dealership. There was also another representation that was not honored. The AutoNation email stated: "Need a ride home? We've got you covered." After I arrived at the dealership, I was told that AutoNation could not provide me with a ride home because they did not have any staff available. Therefore, I encountered multiple discrepancies between AutoNation's advertising and what actually occurred: AutoNation website offer: More than $12,000. Competing dealership offer: $10,000. AutoNation's advertised policy: "We'll match other valid offers." Actual AutoNation offer: $9,650, which was less than the competing offer. AutoNation email: Described the offer as a "certified offer." Explanation at the dealership: I was told the email was AI generated. Advertised service: "Need a ride home? We've got you covered." Actual experience: I was told they could not provide a ride because they had no staff available. Taken together, these circumstances caused me to question whether the representations made through AutoNation's website and email were accurate and whether they were being used to induce consumers to schedule appointments and bring their vehicles to the dealership. My concern is not simply that AutoNation ultimately offered less money for my vehicle. I understand that vehicle valuations can change following an in-person inspection. My concern is that AutoNation made specific representations regarding the amount of its offer, its willingness to match competing offers, the status of the offer as a "certified offer," and transportation assistance, and those representations did not correspond with what I experienced at the dealership. I am requesting that AutoNation investigate this matter and provide a written explanation addressing: Why AutoNation's website generated an offer of more than $12,000 for my vehicle. Why the dealership ultimately offered only $9,650. What specific conditions or qualifications applied to the original offer and whether they were clearly disclosed to me before I scheduled the appointment. What AutoNation means by its statement that it will "match other valid offers." Why AutoNation did not match the valid $10,000 offer I had already received from another dealership. Why the email described the offer as a "certified offer." Why I was told that the email was AI generated when I questioned the discrepancy. Whether AutoNation considers communications generated by AI or automated systems to be official representations of the company. Why the email stated "Need a ride home? We've got you covered" when the dealership was unable to provide that service due to lack of available staff. Whether these same representations are being made to other consumers receiving online vehicle purchase offers. I have retained the AutoNation email containing these representations and can provide documentation of the online offer, the competing $10,000 offer, and the $9,650 offer ultimately made by AutoNation. I believe consumers should be able to rely on specific purchase offers and advertising representations

Once they looked it they gave me an estimate for $6000.00 to fix all three. I was told nothing was going to be covered by their "Gold" AutoNation warranty. Jose, the used car sales manager told me "It's a 10 year old car so..". I told him I wouldn't have purchased the car if I had known it had $6000 worth of work that needed to be done to it. I didn't expect them to do a full restoration of the vehicle but it shouldn't cost me $6k days after I bought it. They woudn't budge. Now I have a car that is worth $6k less than when I bought it. I am wondering what else there "125 point inspection" failed to reveal. I regret my purchase. I won't be going there for service either. If you are considering buying a Mercedes I'd go to Maitland or the Orlando location. BUYER BEWARE!!! Never again!!

In 2023, we purchased a new C300 from Mercedes-Benz of North Orlando. Our salesperson was Josh, the…read moreService Manager was Brian, and the General Manager was Walter. Initially, we were not planning to purchase from this dealership because of the distance from our home in Winter Garden to Sanford. We were concerned that servicing the vehicle would be inconvenient. The dealership addressed that concern by offering complimentary valet service, where they would pick up our vehicle, leave us a loaner, and return our vehicle after service. That commitment eliminated our only objection, and we moved forward with the purchase. Unfortunately, our 2023 C300 experienced so many issues that Mercedes-Benz engineers ultimately became involved. After evaluating the vehicle, they instructed the dealership to replace it. By that time, the model year had changed, so we received a 2024 C300 and paid the difference to add the Driving Assistance Package. Throughout that entire process, Walter, Brian, and Josh were professional, patient, and treated us with respect. While the 2024 has been a better vehicle overall, it has still had its share of quirks. Fast forward to June 2026. When it was time for scheduled service, I contacted the dealership and specifically requested the valet service that had been part of our ownership experience for more than two years. My service advisor, Bianca, told me she needed management approval before confirming the appointment. About twenty minutes later, I received confirmation and reasonably believed my valet appointment had been scheduled. The morning of the appointment came, the scheduled pickup time passed, and I reached out for an update. I was then told the dealership expected me to bring the vehicle in myself because they no longer offered valet service. This was the first time I learned there had been a change in management and that Walter had been replaced by Eugene. I then discovered Brian was no longer the Service Manager, and Josh was no longer at the dealership either. I later learned all three had transferred to the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Maitland, also part of AutoNation. I will acknowledge one mistake on my part: I did not obtain the valet agreement in writing. However, I do have over two years of service history clearly showing that Mercedes-Benz of North Orlando consistently honored that commitment. This was not a one-time courtesy--it was part of the agreement that led us to purchase the vehicle from this dealership in the first place. I reached out to Eugene three separate times because I simply wanted to have a conversation about honoring the commitment that had been made to us. My first call was never returned. After waiting several days, I called again and specifically asked the receptionist to let him know I was trying to speak with him before the end of the week. She confirmed she had done so and transferred me directly to his office. The call went to voicemail. I left another message. Instead of hearing from Eugene, I later received a call from the Customer Relations Manager. To his credit, he took the time to discuss the situation professionally and respectfully. He explained that under the new management, the dealership would not continue providing valet service, despite the history of the arrangement. While I appreciated his willingness to make the call, it was disappointing that the General Manager chose not to have that conversation himself after multiple attempts to reach him. The Customer Relations Manager also informed me that Walter, Brian, and Josh were now at the Maitland location and suggested they might be willing to honor the commitment that had originally been made. Ultimately, this review is about more than valet service. It is about keeping promises. The complimentary valet service was not an occasional courtesy. It was the solution to the only objection we had when deciding whether to purchase from Mercedes-Benz of North Orlando. It influenced our buying decision, and the dealership honored that commitment for more than two years. To have that commitment simply disappear because management changed is disappointing and reflects poorly on AutoNation's approach to customer relationships. Leadership changes should not erase commitments that were made to customers. Premium brands build loyalty by standing behind their promises, regardless of who occupies the General Manager's office. At the time of writing this review, I have not yet contacted the Maitland dealership to see whether they will honor the original agreement. Based on my past experience with Walter, Brian, and Josh, I am hopeful they will. If they do, it will reinforce what excellent leadership and customer service should look like. If they do not, then this becomes an AutoNation issue rather than simply a North Orlando issue. I will update this review once I have that. Update- my valet service loaner is in route and Maitland Mercedes is picking up my car for service

The team here fit us on the schedule and we were able to drop our car off before heading off to vacation. When we returned 12 days later, the car was still not ready. Eventually, our car was ready 3 weeks after we dropped it off. This is no big deal, as they were waiting on parts for a while and provided us a loaner when we returned. The only reason they are not getting a 5 star review is because of the customer service. When your car is in the shop for that long, a technician should be reaching out every 2-3 days to provide an update. We had to reach out nearly every time and even then, would hardly get a definite answer on when the car was ready and what was wrong. We are used to small auto body shops who communicate with customers periodontally to provide updates. They can improve on this. Thanks for taking care of our major repair within warranty!
