Sales people were trying to charge me for standard features already on the camper by the manufacturer. We were almost ready give up our attempt to purchase a camper. And then I found Cobb & Son in Seale Alabama. They had the camper that I wanted. From the very first phone conversation with Ernie, I knew I would be buying my first camper from them. All I asked is to give me their best "out the door price." I live in central Florida, and I would have drive 400 miles to pick it up, and I couldn't play price games. Ernie called me back and gave me the GODFATHER DEAL. "He made me an offer I couldn't refuse" Next was a road trip to Alabama. Their entire staff treated us like family. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Dustin's walkthrough was amazing and so thorough. They are always willing to answer any operational questions that I have, anytime. After leaving the dealership, we encountered a brake controller failure on my tow vehicle. (This was no fault of Cobb & Son. The brake controller and wiring was done before we left Florida.) We were on our way to a campground for the night, before heading home to Florida. I called the dealership and spoke to Jonathan. I explained what was happening and he felt it was a bad brake controller. This was on a Late Friday afternoon. Jonathan drove to the campground, test drove my vehicle and camper and changed the brake controller at the campground, in the dark. WOW! WOW! WOW! This is the true meaning of "5 STAR" customer service. I would highly recommend Cobb & Son to anyone looking for a camper. It was certainly worth the drive to experience their fantastic customer service. I wish I could leave a 10 star review.

Our boat sat at the shop for nearly two weeks, and during that entire time, we received no updates. We were never called with a diagnosis, never given a timeline, and never told what work was being performed. I finally had to call them myself, only to be told, "Oh yeah, we were going to call you." At that point, we were informed they had put a fuel pump on the boat and wanted my husband to come listen to a noise. Frustrated by the lack of communication, we decided to pick the boat up and take it elsewhere. To make matters worse, we were never called or informed that the fuel pump on our boat was going to be removed. We were never asked for approval, and no one explained what was being done. When I picked the boat up and paid the diagnostic fee, nothing was mentioned about it. It wasn't until I got home and my husband looked at the boat that we realized the pump they had put on had been removed and our old fuel pump had been left sitting on the back seat. After nearly two weeks, we were left with a bill, a vague diagnosis, poor communication, and more questions than answers and a removed fuel pump sitting on the back seat of our boat. The complete lack of updates and failure to communicate what work was being performed made this an extremely frustrating experience. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

And I didn't even get a full hour of cleaning and what was done was HALF-ASSED. First of all one worker used glass cleaner on our wooden furniture and she wiped half of a lazy-susan on our wooden breakfast table across the middle leaving dust visible on it and on the table. Several things in our living room like our entertainment center & mantle with lamps & pictures wasn't even touched. The bedrooms were done half-assed, most items were not even wiped off, I rubbed my finger on several things after they left & realized they were not even touched. I think they were just here to make an appearance, get a check, and get the hell out of my home. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLEANING SERVICE TO ANYONE! This is some of the worst house cleaning I've ever had done, nothing but a total waste of $190.00 for less than one hour cleaning service. ECC, you got me once but never again! A TOTAL RIP-OFF!

But, after they replaced my tire they told me I should also replace all my break pads and my rotors... not a cheap fix. I decided to wait and ended up taking it to a place in Phenix City near where I work instead. He told me my rotors are COMPLETELY FINE and do NOT need to be replaced. He told me all I needed was new break pads on the front and an oil change... which cost less than half of what Auburn Tire had tried to charge me. Suggest getting a second opinion after looking into Auburn Tire.
