For that, I rate them very highly. That level of attention is not available everywhere. But in the last couple of weeks, I took a car to them for a service, and told them it was going to be used for a very sad occasion in the next couple of days. Not only did they do a gold-standard service very quickly (lending me a courtesy car for the morning), but they washed the car inside and out without being asked. Within an hour while I was having a cuppa a video was produced going over the car and with an honest assessment that nothing was required that day. I turned down the offer of a car wash and was on my way, exactly how dealers and manufacturers should be when wanting to retain loyal customers. I also spoke with Robb in sales who was very helpful too.

I simply asked standard questions i.e. if the car I was interested in had been HPI checked and was abruptly told yes all their cars are HPI checked, however because of the shifty and quite frankly rude attitude when speaking to them I felt something wasn't right (the car had already been there for many months without being reduced) so I asked a mechanic to look at the car for me and he believed the car to have previously had considerable front end damage so maybe not HPI checked after all? Also see snippet below from an article in Birmingham Evening Mail in 1999. Needless to say I didn't buy this car and it is still sat on their forecourt for some unsuspecting person to buy. They obviously think the consumer to be stupid.
