I was warmly welcomed to the store when I arrived and the service advisor tried hard to find the specific tires that I ordered. Couldn't find them. Thankfully, he had alternatives in stock and he honored the original price. A few minutes later, I headed across the street for a breakfast bite while the team worked away. A text message that the car was ready and I returned. All set and the work was complete. When you include the road hazard cover, the disposal fee, the this-that-and-the-other fee and such, it's not cheap. But they were thorough, friendly and I am confident in the new tires on my daughter's SUV. At least now if she hits another curb, the tires will be replaceable at this or any other Discount Tire. They have tires, and that is basically it, additionally your tires may be better than what they tell you depending on the team member you get.

If it doesn't need replacing they won't replace it. These days it's easy to look out what prices on what parts cost and Hatfield doesn't overcharge you like you expect at the dealer. On the repair I paid what I was quoted. No extra, oh we forgot to tell you that kind of stuff. They work on your car like you would if you knew what you were doing. Over the years I've gone to Pep Boys, Toyota and Chevy dealerships and other repair shops and I would trust Hatfield to work on both of my cars if they break down. The rest of the car works fine so there was no need to get a new/used car. Since the engine has been replaced it runs like new, gets 31.6 miles to the gallon and is back on the road 7 days a week. I also got a warranty on the engine 1 year or 12,000 miles both parts and labor included in the price. Was also provided a receipt that included that engine had been replaced with the mileage, and the mileage that the car had on it when it was replaced if and when I sell the car.

My friend later took her car to there and without a mechanic even looking at it the female office manager or receptionist informed my friend it would be over $700 to have it fixed. My friend also got the impression that the women was smug and assumed she couldn't afford it. She obviously just wasn't pleasant to deal with. What I found alarming is that Sears said that a compressor would cost me $200-300. I know replacing the compressor is not that difficult of a job. I took the car to another shop and the whole job cost me $380. The A/C works great and I couldn't be happier. Obviuosly this place is out to rip off customers and I would find another shop to work with. BTW I took the car to Grant's Automotive in Carthage. I am extremely happy with the whole experience.
