They found a large bolt and determined the tire was not able to be used so they graciously put our spare on and checked its pressure. The pressure was low so air was added to get us going. All this was done with kindness and genuine concern. They would not accept payment for services. We explained that he had a screw in our tire and needed either the tire to be changed or some fix flat in it so it could get us home which was 45 minutes away. He went and asked his manager and the manager absolutely said no we're getting ready to close. Even though they had 15 minutes left before closing. So he filled up the tire as much as he could and said I hope this gets you home. I couldn't believe it! Or would have only took him a few minutes just to fix it. We will never go back there for anything. Luckily we made it home an my husband was able to fix it enough so we could go back somewhere else and have it fixed.

Ron's owner, Jose Dejuk, talked me through the diagnosis and clearly explained how the compressor had failed. I know nothing about the innards of cars, but I do know what it means to explain things so people understand. Jose was solid at every turn. He replaced the compressor in a little over an hour and walked me through the fix. The cost felt right, and the experience was genuinely positive all around.

Calling a Honda dealership they thought it might be plugs (misfires in the cylinders) due to the warning lights my car indicated. Being from Jacksonville 70 miles to the north I was clueless who to take my car to in this area. I checked John's Yelp reviews, gave him a call and felt confident enough to take my car to his shop. He quickly scoped my car, diagnosed the problem, quoted me a very fair price, and had my car ready just a few hours later. I was able to rent a car in the meantime. Total charge $122!! Within a couple minutes, one of the staff members looked up the right part for me and guided me to its place on the shelf. Then, this meathead (who's done this a half dozen times in his life and knows what's going on!) took the headlamp outside, popped the hood and got everything pulled apart and replaced it. But in the effort to not mess up my clothes for the show, I. Just. Couldn't. Get. The. Lamp. Seated! Just before the swearing actually began, the other staff member happened to pop outside. He watched me struggle for about a minute, and without a word came over with his phone to shine a light on the situation (instead of feeling his way around like the meathead!) My son, who lives in St Augustine, referred me to his buddie's body shop in St Augustine for repairs, necessitating a tow to St Augustine, about a 40 mile tow. Called Saint Augustine Tire Towing service (another BNI associate of my son's) and they were there within an hour or so. It cost $150, but I thought that was pretty reasonable all things considered. They were very professional and got my car down to the auto body repair shop in a very timely manner. I would recommend them highly.
