I finally get a hold of someone on the phone who tells me that some parts were out of stock, they sent me an email about it and were waiting for ME to respond! Fine, I tell them to refund me for the outs and ship the rest of the order. They promised to ship it expedited, process the refund and send me a tracking number. I wait a day and got no response. I called again, was put on hold and then was told "I'll call you back in 2 minutes." 10 minutes after the call, I get an email that they've cancelled the entire order and refunded me the entire amount. Then at checkout, there were printer problems of course. After loading my car, my app finally loaded so I went to back to do my return. They told me since I purchased at another location they couldn't do my return. Called Advanced Auto Parts Customer Service after leaving very frustrated and they told me the store was wrong and that I should've been able to return. Hey all, So for a…read morehopefully upcoming hillclimb with the 7 I needed to get a racing suit, gloves and shoes to prevent the whole possibility of being burned alive. Pretty much with most racing gear you gotta just order online and hope for the best when it comes; there are only a few shops around the country that actually stock items like full suits, helmets, steering wheels, etc and they never seem to be anywhere near where ya live. So when I found out there was a fully stocked shop an hour away from my casa I was pretty stoked. Driving Impressions in Dover, NJ has literally everything ya need to get going in road racing. Bob Zecca was a tremendous help with helping me find the best fitting suit, gloves and shoes that matched best with my needs. Beyond that? The shop was amazing! 6000 sq/ft shop and warehouse full of racing goodies. For anyone who is a fan of road racing this place was heaven. Tons of cool autographed stuff around (Michael Schumacher's gloves, a letter from Enzo Ferrari). A pristine Lancia Delta Integrale in the showroom imported from Italy. I know, I know I should have taken some pics...all in all though an amazing time, spent over 3 hours there shopping, seeing the facility and talking to Bob about everything from dogs, to his travels in Italy to of course - racing. They usually have whatever it is I'm looking for in-stock and readily available or they can get it to me next-day so that's pretty cool. Plus Counter Associates here are all very helpful and knowledgeable and that goes a long way especially for one of these chain type stores. Their local competitors employ some of the most lackadaisical folks you're ever gonna come in unfortunate contact with so I definitely do appreciate the Counter Service here.   You're also gonna find decent prices on most items in this Store including Motor Oil, Fluids, Windshield Wipers, Car Mats, Tools, Steering Wheel Covers, Trim Kits, and Seat Covers.   The store has it's own dedicated parking lot and it's located right off of Route 46 East. The employees have a very unfriendly attitude…read more They rolled their eyes when they heard I wanted to take advantage of the free battery installation and testing mentioned on the website when I purchased the battery. After making me wait for about 20 minutes, they finally bothered to bring the cart to my car, only to tell me that they could not do it because a bolt was under a plastic cover (side note, that bolt is easily accessible). I must mention again that the AAP website I used to buy the battery is clearly stating that the battery replacement and testing is available, for free, for my type of car (2011 Toyota RAV4). After filing an official complaint with the corporate customer service, the store manager called me, only to treat me worse than his employee. He was obnoxious, telling me that I am wrong, sarcastically congratulating me for being able to change the battery by myself (after making an unnecessary trip back home and another trip to the store to bring back the old battery, of course). He was constantly talking over me and cut the conversation short, refusing to admit that they are misleading customers with false advertisement, for services they are unwilling to provide, No surprise the employees are so unfriendly: shadow of the leader. Avoid this store.
