She answered all my questions and concerns. I came here to chafe a battery and they helped me put it in with no problems. The staff are very nice and helpful. I have to say that Auto Zone is doing it right with the new team they have in place. I'm writing this as I'm being helped right now.

If you so happen to make it to the counter, staff don't know how to look up parts, didn't know what the store rewards program is, purchases rarely count towards their reward program because info is never entered. The purchases that does make it into the system earn reward balances but if they don't know how to enter info into the system, what's the point. Your balance will just end up expiring. I'm feeding the cashier the part number on the autozone app and they can't find it in the system and needed manager to point it out. Manager busy running cashier and commercial accounts. Parking lot is just one big repair shop, with trash everywhere and dozens and dozens of containers of used oil everywhere. Maybe it was just because it's sunday but still........

I go to pay and I'm told to insert my debit card in the chip reader. I follow the instructions and I'm told it didn't go thru, do you have another card? Sure, I have a card with no chip and the counter person says, nope this card is bad too. I'm trying not to lose my mind. My buddy floats me $10 and I leave the store. Wishing they'd open a Pep Boys right next door. Fix your damn machine!

Went back to the store and the rude employee said it was not their problem. As per the receipt returns are allowed as long as you have the receipt. We had the receipt ( and the box and the light) but the employee stated that since we took the light out of the box no returns/ exchanges are allowed. It's ridiculous!!! No where on the receipt does it state that! So you're telling me that we were supposed to keep the headlight in the box forever?!? Never open it, never try it, just keep it on a book shelf or something?!? Ridiculous of course we had to remove it from the box my car needs a new headlight!!! We tried it and it didn't work, but these people seemed not to care at all. Horrible customer service. Of course we were told the manager wasn't there. The light cost $11.99. At least it's cheap. But imagine if you go into this place and make a big purchase only for it not to work and the employees refuse to return/ exchange it because you took it out of the box... ridiculous. It clearly states on their receipt that returns are allowed with receipt, but they are not as per the employee so that makes them LIARS. Never going to that horrible place again. You've been warned.

There is metered street parking in addition to their own parking lot. Prices are reasonable. I always find what I need.

Today, I pulled up to Advance Auto Parts on my skateboard to get a battery for my vehicle. Upon my arrival, Billy greeted me warmly, asked me what type of vehicle I had, and went through the different battery options they had in stock. When he asked me which of the three I preferred, I jokingly remarked, "I'll take the least expensive, lightest battery you have that fits into this backpack." Realizing that I intended to skate the battery back home (a little over a mile), Ravin told me that Billy could give me a ride back to my house! I was relieved not to lug the battery all the way home, and my boss was relieved that I wasn't too late to work. These guys treated me like a friend and neighbor. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They installed the battery (on two occasions) quickly and immediately. If you're in need of some quick parts (eg: spark plugs, battery, lights, wipers, etc) this is a great place to go. Note: they also price match which is nice.

I asked where on Old Country Road and he said West. The GPS Google sends me East, hickups and does not tell me where it is. I turned around and finally found it right side of Levittown Parkway and Old Country Road. People who call them are told use the land marks of the Dunkin donut and 7 11. which is before them as they are on the right side of the street heading west. IT is a small parking lot and difficult to turn out of back on to the road with a fire hydrant on the street side. Check for their hours. I went in (Women beware) many men on line and getting served by other employee) and I was waiting and then told the man at the counter what I wanted. He had it. I had card in hand ready to pay and did not even quarm the price) Then the phone rang and he took the call and then procceded to take care of the callers needs. And I waited. And then, I waited. Then when I questioned I was tokd that he had to take the call. Ok. The I asked can he help me. He told me that was why hed had the ladder to climb up and get the item. Then he left the counter and ... I waited. Then, I left, and bought the item at the other close by Auto parts store in Hicksville near Jersey Mikes, - for approximatly 60 dollars less where I was helped right away. Go figure.
