I don't know what is going on but this Autozone used to be a good place to get auto parts but since the whole Covid thing they have gone downhill, the employees are less than knowledgeable about auto anything and aren't any help. Twice I was sold the wrong parts and had to return them and since I live an hour from the store it was a bit of a inconvenience! read more

Mike Davis, the manager of this location is simply an amazing lad. This awesomeness trickles down to his employees, as each and every time I need AutoZone, they impress the hell out of me. As I have stated in earlier reviews, I hate cars, car issues, mechanical things, etc. Anytime there is an automotive need that is beyond adding petrol to the tank, I get stressed out. AutoZone is my "happy place" that makes it all better. The latest thing was a brake lamp that went out. No biggie on the grand scale of things, but with a tight schedule and most of my free time is only available after the sun sets, this can be a hassle. Our bored law enforcement representatives seize upon minor issues like this in the hopes of catching bigger infractions, warrants, etc. It normally has a pretty good return rate for them as well (used to play a lot of cops and robbers as a lad, so I know this well--wink). Since I have a security clearance higher than most, I do not fall into that category. My biggest infraction is that I can't see my tail lights as I drive to know when they go out. So it was with a groggy head (still hung over from my birthday revelry a couple of nights prior--yeah a 2 day hang-over----I am too old for this stuff grrrrrrr.), lack of good sleep, and an aversion to the morning, that I stumbled into AutoZone this fine Sunday morning filled with chirping birds, the first sunshine in months, happy senior citizens out shopping and being traffic hazards, etc. I was quickly greeted by "Rebel", a very professional, attractive, and helpful lass. Sorry, Mike, I love ya man, but Rebel is much, much prettier (laughs)....the spark is gone lad. She got the bulbs, popped them in for me and even helped me solve another problem (moisture buildup in my boot) with a cheap and easy fix. This advice turned me onto a product line that helps combat it at our soggy house too. AutoZone & Rebel gave me piece of mind once again. read more

I went in to get my battery looked at cause the battery light came on and DAVE was there to assist me. Without giving a play by play of what happened, I'll fast forward and say that I am thoroughly pleased with the service I got. He changed my battery for me in the rain... Best store auto zone I have ever been to. The manager Mike goes above and beyond many times to help me, I have watched him do the same for others. I travel a lot for my job around states and always try to come home to fix my truck and get parts here. I have even called from other states to ask mike and staff about issues. Parts are always the right ones, knowledge, and service out standing. I wish I could put the store and staff in my back pocket when I travel and have that experience at every auto zone I went too. Any store has to depend on the knowledge and staff that wants to help others not because a paycheck to make it successful. This place hands down, gots it! Thank you! read more

My husband use to use this store all the time & they were always helpful. I went in this am to buy oil filter. 3 men stood around talking, 2 people stocking shelves & no acknowledgement for 5 minutes.If the men were having a meeting perhaps it should have been done in an office. I didn't have the model number & the girl that eventually waited of me was of no help & certainly didn't go the extra mile like the clerks use to. I will use O'Reillys from now on. Unbelievable experience!! In town visiting and needed battery in car checked. Stopped by and only one young man was there when I arrived. He still checked battery and took care of other customers. In the meantime another employee arrived. Despite only two there my battery was replaced and all customers were taken care of! What team! Then to top it off after replacing the battery the young man would not accept any payment for his work! I practically begged him but he wouldn't take a dime! What a guy! Love this place! I was visiting Astoria and discovered a gas attendant forgot to put my gas cap on when I filled up. I called Auto zone and gave them my car info and they had a replacement ready for me when I arrived. Zero stars for the gas attendant, five for Auto zone! read more

I always go to AutoZone because of the outstanding service I get every time. Last night, I had an oil change at a place I normally do, and I didn't recognize any of the staff. It felt to me as though they hadn't done what they said they did. I went to AutoZone and asked Mike if it was easy to tell if the oil had in fact been changed, along with several other things. Mike said, "Let's go see." He thoroughly checked every thing, letting me know along the way how to tell. I also wanted new clear covers for my license plates but the screws were rusted. Mike removed the license plates, helped me find clear covers with frames that would look nice on my car, cleaned the plates and installed them for me, and was cheerful the entire time, even when it started raining. The staff is amazing, and I wouldn't go to any other auto parts store. Thanks so much, Mike!!! read more
