On or about 10/1/14, Toyota issued a recall for this issue, whereby they would replace and install the part, free of charge. On 10/13/14, I tried to return the part, Triple Nickel refused to take the part back, stating they had a 30 day return policy. When asked why I was not told that at time of purchase but had been told if there was a problem, I could return the part. I was told "To bad." I'll never do business with them again. Being out $270. Is no laughing matter.

I didn't have a clue how much they cost used at the time so they raped me for $800. I would be fine if they didn't lie to me when I got the time to put it in and I didn't even check the gears because I needed it and it was there so it was going in. Well long story short I took a ride thought something wasn't right. Took off the cover and they were 3.08 gears. Well I took too long to check and I was past warranty.
