It's apparent that professionalism and courteousness is cultural. As a former customer service director I submit maintaining such a standard is what separates the good from the great! In April, honestly every employee that crossed my path, stopped and spoke, and asked if I needed anything- while this may be common for staff working directly with a customer, it is not the trend for staff that are not working with you, or may not even be in forward facing positions; yet consistently throughout the day, direct and indirect staff engaged with me. I thought to myself this can't be real, but I was there all day in April, and it was the norm. That's phenomenal!
