I've checked prices so many times for so many parts, that it's pretty much a given it'll be cheaper at O'Reilly's. They have specialty tools you can rent, you have to give a deposit, but you get the entire deposit back once you return it. Price varies according to the tool. I've never had a problem returning anything. Customer service is pretty much what would be expected at an autoparts store. Not horrible, not exceptionally great, but the guys at the counter are knowledgeable. I do think Autozone has a larger inventory though.

Unlike everywhere else, A-1 understood exactly what I needed. On the day of my appointment they took my car exactly on time and immediately got to work. How often does that happen these days? As I waited, I looked around. Their store, the parking lot, AND their shop is immaculate. Every tool in their shop has a designated spot. I was in industrial operations for 20 years, and I can tell you that when a place is as well organized and maintained as this, it is extremely well run. That's why I was immediately met for service on time, and finished within 40 minutes. The price was good as well.

After a few minutes of cooling off, the motor started and we made it to our destination. After investigating the issue, I purchased the Carquest part with a lifetime warranty from the Wears Valley Road Store in Pigeon Forge. I installed it and had no issues going home. Now, 6 weeks later, the truck stalled again. I called the Mt Carmel Advanced Store to see if they had a Ford Motor craft part. They didn't so I purchased one from a competitor. Then I took the Carquest part with receipt back to the Mt Carmel store. The manager told me that he could only swap the part for another part. He declined a refund so I told him to just keep the part with the receipt and my money. I would not recommend the Advanced Auto Parts Store. They offer only swapping parts. No refunds on bad parts. Find a store with a no hassle return policy. At this point they ripped me off the cost of the part. Very disappointed because I have been a loyal customer for many years.
